Map Info

TBS is a Player vs. Entity game where you are placed in a "Stadium" where mobs spawn for each round and get progressively harder as you make your way through the levels.

However, what sets this map aside from others is our use of Command Blocks. We've created some pretty freaky, hard, fast, dangerous custom mobs via these Command Blocks, and a little imagination, too.
Some of these mobs include what we like to call "Skats" and "Screechers" - both of which are super weird and freaky beings.

We've also incorporated a full-fledged Player Shop that you can buy things in with the amount of kills you have. The more kills you have, the more expensive things you can buy, including custom Enchants and what we call "PowerUps" along with Food, and other useful gameplay items.

This map also, as of version 2.2, has a custom Resource Pack with gameplay music. It includes 5 Songs that you can put on to listen to during your gameplay, if you wish.

This map is 100% Complete and we hope you enjoy!

Good map, but I had 3 problems with it.
1. I played single player and when I opened the world I was in creative and flying above the map.
2. Once I got to the ghasts they destroyed my armor and I was constantly getting killed in one shot Also they seemed almost indestructible. I returned their fireball several times and I didn't see any of them dying. Would be great if they actually died and if the shop sold armor (or at least allow unbreaking enchant)
3. After the ghasts spawned I just stood next to the next round button and pressed it over and over until the map ended. There probably should be a way to prevent the next round until you killed the mobs (or at least a clock preventing the button being pressed too often)

Also I have some suggestions. I felt that the healing pads were overpowered and I personally like the challenge of having to eat food while in combat to heal. Also the lack of bows in the shop seems to make the archer more overpowered as you can buy a diamond sword but not a bow. Finally the lack of a punishment to dying makes the game lack the urge to survive. You could just run in and die over and over. Perhaps losing some kills (as it is the main currency) when you die would be better.

Thank you so much for these pointers and suggestions. We totally meant to add bows to the shop last update, but I completely forgot! As for the punishment for dying, I completely agree. I'll have to consult with TerrorByte on that one, as my Command-Block knowledge is fairly limiting. Hopefully we can get an update up soon to fix some of these issues you're having.
As for the creative-spawni ng, I'm not quite sure how we could possibly fix that. But again, That'll be something i'll have to talk to TerrorByte about to implement a system to prevent that mishap.

Thanks again!

Great one. Let's do a giant arena, and spawn mobs somewhere. After first 3 waves of searching monsters and looking for the last one, i figured out that they dont make any sounds. And i dont know if it's my fault with it, but when i first downloaded the map, there were strings all over the place. I tried to put them again in line, to trigger the teleportation, but it seems that all start with an adventure mode. It came to point in which i had to edit the map and add a command block with survival mode trigger, so i can play. Overall, i think map is good, but these little bugs made me mad. Thanks for reading this folks.

Are you saying the Tripwire isn't set down right? As in there is string everywhere where there should be tripwire? Adventure Mode is SUPPOSED to be enabled to prevent players from breaking blocks within the arena. There should be no issue, whatsoever, with string being misplaced. The only way I could imagine the string coming up is if you edited the map prior to playing. We've never had an issue with this. If you would kindly PM me on Planet Minecraft so we can resolve this issue, that would be great. http://www.planetminecraft.com/member/slim9820/

As for the sounds, I'm not quite sure why that's happening. We've submitted a new version of the map (which is now ALSO outdated so we'll have to submit another one soon) That has a whole new mob sound-system, including a custom Resource Pack.

Thank you for the feedback! I hope we can work together to fix this issue.

Im in 1.9.4 when I downloaded this map. And when I chose the Knight Role the signs say that I would have a horse and a enchanted blade but I have a normal blade and a spawn egg that is named Spawn. Do I need to be in 1.10?

Hey Auforgold! My name is TerrorByte, I worked on the redstone and spawning mechanics for this map. Now if I understand, when you chose knight, you are getting a regular diamond sword, and a spawn egg named Spawn. This sword is intended. We never wanted any of the knights items to be enchanted. As for the spawn egg, I appreciate you for pointing that out. That is not intended, and I apologize for the inconvenience. I just tested this in 1.10, and the spawn egg isn't working. I've also downgraded to 1.9.4, and it also isn't working. We'll have that ready for the official 1.10 release.

Hey, We're aware there's a bug with the Knight, as there's also a small bug with the Blacksmith. We're submitting an update that should fix this issue. It's also 100% Compatible with 1.10!
