Map Info:
Vertoak City is a massive city themed creation/adventure map for minecraft. Unlike other maps, there are no goals or rules in Vertoak City, you can explore and do anything you want. You choose your own adventure!

Every building in the city has fully furnished rooms to explore, and there are tons of hidden chests and secret rooms to find as well. Can you find them all? There are also two ruins located near the city, exploring them will reveal their secrets.

If you have a different minecraft version to the one this map was created in, it will still be playable, however certain parts of the map may be broken.

this is SO COOL i found some underground cave by the beach with a whole bunch of blazes... its so cool that there are so many hidden passage ways all throughout the city... its really cool there was even one inside the elementary school! lol I'm going to head through that maze to see what is in there.

There is more then one "Library," But there is only one "Great Library." And that library is underground, I have found two different way to get in without breaking things. I won't say exactly where so other people can still find it but one entrance is near plaza, another is near the river.

Lol now I have made a wizarding room at the storage which I live in so my friend's friend could join, we found the library while mining! It seems like we've looted all the chests, even though there's places we've never been to... Also I found the mushroom takeover at that camp, the place with the sign that says ''this doesn't look right''. I just can't get enough of this city, that I even log off my favourite server when my friends (on that server) are on with some clever excuse to play this!

where is the immigration office? in the old town part of vertoak the notice board says theres an immigration office "in the back of you". Has anyone found this?

Some of my friends and I live in some houses next to the beach ( the ones around the house that could never fit in ) and made a storage ( I made my house next to the storage ), pretending we're city guards. This is just amazing! I couldn't find any other map that was made on normal land with furnished rooms and chests full of stuff!
I'd suggest some command blocks for some puzzles.

It's not labeled, but it is a brick building. If you are outside of the welcome center, go left, next to the 1st Central avenue house and cut through the park. Then take a left on the road and it will be at the end of the road, on the left hand side.

So far i have found and nether portal underground, the great library, a few secret rooms and some other stuff. I live in two nice houses in the river district. Those bedrock temples though, has anybody any clue on what they are and where they are? I also read about some sort of temple of knowledge or something. Any clues? I love puzzles!

First time quoting someone, to be honest.
Thank you for your feedback, but I just like puzzle maps way more then "Slash-and-kill -all-the-things -and-do-hardly- any-puzzles-at- all." maps.
(H.M. Is a good map, don't get me wrong, My comp. just does not do well with a room with 50 mobs, let alone the army of the dead in R.O.T.F)

Okay, :(.
But I do understand, I just like maps without all the bloody mobs. (mainly because when I was playing revenge of the fallen, at the point where you fight the army of the dead I went down to 0 fps, no joke.)
Again, I still need to find the second bedrock temple. any clue at all?
Of course, by now I highly doubt ANYONE besides fish knows where it is.
If you do know, hint? I like riddles.

Alright, more updates on secret things,
Found the tresure of whitcre Island, a lava creeper face, a toilet tresure thing, the catacombs, a room full of butter ore (for non skydoesminecraf t veiwers, gold) A lapiz tresure chest. and quite a few other random tid bits around the city. Honestly Any idea on where the second bedrock temple is? I just can't seem to find the blasted thing. (not the actual location, a hint would do fine I think.)

Dude. Just hit escape, and click open to lan. Then turn on cheats. Type /Gamemode 1 and you're golden.

Oi zwing, pro tip on where the library is, There are two entrances (technicly, if you break stuff, three). The two entrances without breaking things is via the wunder train (found by the bridge over the river, hermit house) and a sandstone building near by the plaza. if you break stuff (cheater) you can find on these sand islands some glass that look over a mini city, head down there and you can make it to the library. And the Gamer? you can make a LAN, turn cheats on, and then go into creative.

Another status update, I also found another cake in a canyon cave, A large pig mouth thingy. and a destroyed town and ship and plane. Any tips or hints on where I can find the Second bedrock temple and Nuke?

Well, I still have yet to find a nuke and the second bedrock temple, but I found a great much of stuff that I suppose is secret, among them being a floaty cake that is not a lie, A maze thing with epic armor, the two entrances to the Great Library, A end portal, and the Tomb of Supreme Knowledge.
Probably not all the things, but still is a lot to me. (also found secret room under central avenue 1)

looks fantastic, the map is very large and it's realistic too. I enjoyed myself for hours with this map.

Have you ever played Herobrines Mansion? Well on that map it has bosses and stuff. The villagers and bosses can talk in chat. The creaator uses command block to make the talk. So I think you should put villagers (or NPCs as my friends say) in it and make them talk like.. "How may i help you?" or "What do you need?" I think that would be cool!

Anyone else find the Nuke? hehe been exploring the out of city stuff, btw though idk if it's the because of the update or what but none of the switches or buttons that are on glowstone will work, they break when you use them
