0 vexio hey dude i figured out why the Wishing Well doesn't work in versions above 1.11. You need to put the item it's detecting for in quotes. eg: "minecraft:gold _ingot" not how you did it: minecraft:gold_ingot

hope this helps with peoples issues

0 Pinkponygamer PLEASE HELP ME!! After I defeated the Sorcerer I got teleported back to the swamp and I went in the house to look and see what I had to do and I couldn't figure it out, so I looked outside everywhere... still couldn't find it, then I went back into the house and I saw the trapdoor and I felt so stupid I went and drowned myself (yeah I know I don't know why I did that) and then when I drowned I was back at the place where the Sorcerer was. I don't know how to get back to the house. Please help.

Does this work in multiplayer? Also, I am stuck on the wishing well with the gold ingot. I put it in so many times and nothing happened.

Yes it does. The gold ingot thing is a bug in 1.11.2, you have to play in 1.11

Have all the ingredients for the first potion except the ghost stone. Need one more soul fire torch thingy to unlock the graveyard, but have spent an hour looking. Hints? Help? Much appreciated.

There is a book that tells you the location of each torch. Did you find it?

0 Water Alien Really well done, just as good as the first map was! Also I loved the Easter egg about Swimmingbird, I thought that was really cool. Keep making maps man, you are an inspiration to us all!

+1 Dahbestcod I'm confused on the part when you are still in the mansion. The sky pumpkin section where you say something like how the pumpkin could use some moonlit dust. I tried right clicking it and dropping it all over the place but it doesn't seem to work at all?

The part about the first one was a puzzle, all the redstone needed was provided, it was not a bug. Now about the spawnpoint... I really don't know why this happened, I will look into it though, thanks for the feedback!

Hi Deathwind31!

Sorry, I was referring to the main redstone network with the command blocks? I understood that it was a puzzle, and that I had to fiddle around with the redstone, but it just didn't seem to work. I managed to get the engine on, and that was it. (I restarted the map twice to see if was doing something wrong). In the end, I looked at the redstone and the command blocks above and noticed that the redstone powering the machine that pushes the wool out wasn't connected to the engine, and some of the repeaters were facing in the wrong direction? When I added the extra bit of redstone to connect the engine and the wool part, and turned around the repeaters, the sewing machine worked like it probably should. Really impressed with the mechanics of it by the way, they were pretty cool! But I don't really know what happened with that, maybe just a glitch in my game? Don't know.

Thanks anyway!

0 Ciaaaa Hi, I've really been enjoying this map so far! I had a blast playing the first one, and was excited for the second, but I seem to have encountered a bit of a problem. After collecting all the ingredients for the Gleaming Essence, I go back and hit the button to brew it, but it just repeats that I don't have all the required ingredients. it did this the first time i tried playing it, and thought i had just somehow broken the map, go i deleted it and started again, but even now it still says I don't have the right items. Help!

Hey! I remember spotting this on the Minecraft Forum, then Planet Minecraft. When I first saw this map, I instead played Bane of the Pumpkin Lord 1 so I could get caught up in this map series, and it was very good. I can't wait to play this map now. By the way, I was very confused by the storyline of the first map, so could someone sum it up?

And one other thing: About how long did it take for this map to get on the site (after you submitted it)?

-RKC, to Deathwind31

Yeah the narrative needs a bit of work but all you need to know about the first one is (SPOILER!) that your father, adam, tranferred the curse of the pumpkin lord to the king of the land, and now the pumpkin lord is looking for you (you have royal blood) to escape teh curse. By killing him in the end, the curse falls on you, since there must always be a pumpkin lord. There is a lot more in the second map though and the narrative has improved quite a bit.

It took about a day or two :)

Hello!

I've got some good and bad points for this map, but I'll start with the good.

Well-made; loved the collectible items and the armor sets; really enjoyed exploring the map; the effects were really well-done. Overall it was really fun to play, and I really got into it!

However there was one mishap towards the end of the map that made the ending seem undeserved.

Whilst taking on the Sorcerer in the arena with the Wither Skeletons and four raised platforms, the spawnpoint hadn't been set. So when I fell prey to the Wither Skeletons (I'm not the best fighter to be honest), the game said the bed was missing or destroyed. And so I spawned at the very start of the map. I then spent the next hour searching the map and command blocks for the coordinates of the platform that I had died on. After finally finding it, I set my spawnpoint there and jumped back into adventure mode, only to find that my detour to the start had appeared to confuse the map. The Wither Skeletons had disappeared, and nothing was happening. I had to go back into Gamemode 1 and go onto each of the raised platforms and click the 'destroy platform' button that way. After destroying the 3rd platform, the game caught on to what was happening and continued with where it left off, catching up a bit to fit the dialog and stairways in that were paired with each platform's destruction.

This is the second time that The Bane Of Pumpkin Lord map series has been missing redstone / command blocks / commands, as the first on was missing some redstone to connect the sewing machine together and some of the repeaters were the wrong way round. I managed to fix it and continue the game, but having to break out of the zone to fix redstone and spawnpoint problems in both games was disappointing.

I'm sure not whether any one else will experience the same problem or if my game is just being a bit odd.

If you lose your spawnpoint like I did, go to the redstone network above the room where you start the boss fight with the Sorcerer, go to the sign that says 'end', and go to the very last command block on that row. It should say 'tp blah blah coordinates blah'. Copy the coordinates, then in chat put /teleport [player name] [coordinates]. It should take you back to the arena. Set the spawnpoint there as well in case you die again. The command for that is /spawnpoint [player name] [coordinates].

Great map though, hopefully those mishaps can be fixed.

All the best to players and map-makers alike! :)

Hello, after i ride the boat i was teleported on a castle and after that, the wizard asks me to get 2 potions with different kind of recipes needed to brew so, i was finding that recipe named "Glade Orchid" for 2 hours and i still couldn't find it. I really want to finish this map and i wish i would get an early response.

Try looking under the giant tree close to the waterfall.
