"One Block Dungeon" is adventure map that takes you inside tiny dungeon.

You have to explore all dark secrets of this tiny dungeon to find the exit and escape.

Angry monsters, undead dwarfs and spiders will complicate your path.

You will decide for yourself which way you should go, with whom and how to fight and run away from difficult to kill enemies.

-1 jessie I don't know if using OptiFine 1.14.4 HD U F3 caused this or not, but I was experiencing a glitch with invisible entities with no hitboxes (or the invisibility effect). I tried re-loading resources, re-rendering the world, turning shaders on and off (I had them off to begin with). The only way to fix this was to quit the world and re-open it.

I've never seen this glitch before, and I have no idea if that's something with 1.14.4 or with OptiFine or with the provided resources. Just wanted to let you know.

P.S.: other than being killed once by a glitched invisible endermite, the map is awesome and I love the concept.

The map is very fine, its just that the thumbnail of the map is very misleading.

+5 sen This map is really cool! The monster noises and crawling makes it spooky and easy to get into the feel of the map. I had 2 small problems with it though.
1. The magma can be walked over without any problems by shifting (Idk if you meant for this), which makes the tempered sword like super easy to get without getting too hurt. (You still roast a little when opening the box though.)
2. The trap doors make it so that the undead dwarfs can't get through the door but you can still attack them. (Even during the final boss!)
Other than that though this map was super awesome, especially for how simple it is!

+1 Estetica Hi, just wanted to leave a quick review since I just finished the map!
I think the map has got an interesting concept going on and the one block high aspect is pretty refreshing. As far as gameplay itself goes; there are both good points and some that could use a bit of improving.
Parts that stuck out to me as needing a bit of polishing are:
- The plot/story itself. There's a lot of "Why's" that, if explained, could improve the map. Ex. 'the diary', what are we as players doing there? Maybe some background about the place and what is going on there.
- The writing, ex. the signs at the start and the books. (Arhh, I really dislike picking on people's spelling! It's just a minor detail and doesn't really matter for the map- it just caught my eye.)
- It's possible to break the map accidentally at one of the chest locations (I know that you answered someone else about that on another site.)
- The ending itself felt a bit sudden- maybe add some hints that 'This is it! This is the bossfight!' or have the story tell the player something more about it?
On another note, the feel of the map is really comfy and the resource pack does its part to add to that feeling. I really enjoyed the way the map was put together with the different areas and simple but effective game mechanics. On a whole, it's a pretty slow-paced and chill map (when you're not being chased by angry enemies) with a lot of focus on exploring, I enjoyed playing it. Definitely an idea worth developing!
Hope to see more maps like this from you in the future!

Also, when you die before the first checkpoint instead of spawning at the first area of the map, you spawn at the first checkpoint.

I like the concept of this map, but it's clear that you didn't make any attempt to test the map before posting it on this site.

-2 Hugesmoke Sorry, but i couldn't bring myself to finish the map, the idea sounds cool on paper but all you are really doing is fighting easy mobs, moving down narrow paths with super slow speed and smashing blocks. it got so tedious i have to give myself speed 6 and there isnt really an interesting story to follow, also no spawn saves, the map literally cant save your spawns you have to do it yourself, but after i did it myself i fell out of the world because of a stupid trap, and then my spawn was missing because of that, In short, a bad map, boring, tedious, no complexity. 4/10, Not recommended.
