I'm loving the map so far, but I fell down a hole near Overgrown because it was dark and I didn't really see it that well. It's just deep enough that I can't jump out of it, and I don't have an real way of killing myself. Plus it's clear that I don't have permissions to switch to Creative so I can fly out. Is there any other way to get out of this situation? Or should I just switch over to hard and try to starve to death?

if you want to cheat and fly out, you need to press esc. then open to LAN. next, click allow cheats on. then change to gamemode c and fly out!

How Was I Supposed To Get To Black Sands

When you are at the entrance of Icepoint, turn to the right and you should see a waterfall. Follow the waterfall down the hill and it will lead you directly to the path for Black Sands. Once you get to the end of the path, you should be near a pier-like structure. The sign tells you to go straight, so if you swim through the water straight from the opening of the structure, you should end up right on the shore of Black Sands.

0 gameplayer70 Since it took so much time to finish this map, I thought I would offer a bit of criticism.

1. Too Many Mobs / Mob Spawners: While there should be some level of challenge to complete an adventure map, in this one there can be too many mobs at once, which makes it frustrating to continue playing because it's too hard to continue further.
2. Too Little Armor / Weapons Too Weak: This goes along with the first one a little bit. If there are going to be large groups of mobs, the player should be given adequate weapons and armor to deal with those mobs. Towards the end, I lost all of my armor because it broke, and it seemed like throughout the game (even completing all of the side quests), the quality of the weapons to deal with the mobs just came to an end before Icepoint. Although the player gets the ability to trade emeralds for items, the items in stock are very few and would have little use at this point.
3. William and Rev: When I got to the end bosses, I found myself having to respawn over and over because both of them were so overpowering and I ended up standing outside of the fences shooting them with arrows just to be able to survive. The diamond armor is definitely over-the-top, and they would be more fair if they had a weaker tier of armor or weaker weapons.
4. Story: The story is interesting, but it is a bit lacking in the beginning and end because there is little introduction to what is happening, and after William and Rev are defeated, the game abruptly ends.
5. Food: You did a great job with mostly limiting the amount of food resources in the map. This can be difficult because a lot of the time, the map maker ends up adding too little or too much, and I had no problem using the amount I was given to survive, half the time wondering if I would have enough throughout the game.
6. Architecture: The architectural design of the travel locations was great. I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into making them and minimized the chance that something would go wrong (like a player breaking blocks that they shouldn't). I spent time going through the houses and making sure I got everything that would be useful.
7. Fast Travel: While it was useful getting to each location just by pulling a lever and teleporting, it would probably have been better if each location had its own fast travel station and beds at each so you don't have to teleport to the same spot each time you die. The only problem I actually had with this is that when I would fast travel to Wellwater, I would get stuck in the block I landed on there, and I would have to move around and lose my hunger bar just to get out.
8. Long Walking Distances: I didn't mind at all walking the gravel paths you set to get to each location, but if you fast traveled to one location and needed to go somewhere else immediately after, the only way there would be to walk or to backtrack to the main fast travel station and teleport (or die to get there), which would take effort because as time would change, you would have to fight off mobs each night it took to travel.

The map itself was pretty cool, especially since I love exploring worlds, but I found the mobs a bit difficult with only the lame weapons and leather armour I was provided with. I mean come on, why was there never any upgraded armor other than just enchants? Because of that I was never able to beat the two bosses at the end. They were literally undefeatable with what I was given to work with. Even if I had gone to the different villages and bought supplies to craft weapons and armor and enchant them I still wouldn't have won. I also found it super annoying being warped back to start every time I died (I know there was fast travel buttons, but it was still REALLY annoying).

I will say though, that unlike many others who commented here, I had no trouble finding my way to any place I was supposed to go. The only place I had a slight bit of trouble finding was the huntress remains, but I figured out the map I was given eventually... after I cheated and flew around for a better view so I could find it... For future reference, an X marking the spot to find would have been much more obvious than a player marker....

A good map, but I would have liked to actually be able to fully complete it. Undefeatable bosses are never fun.

its possible to defeat the bosses, you just need a weapon and good skills, i lost all of my armor trying to defeat the final bosses and i won, and you will need to figure out how to do this by urself :)

0 memes124 this map was the best adventure map i have played. I have completed all of the side quests (also caused me to lose my armor) and finishing the game at the last "town" was a challenge, i had to respawn over 12 times. If you like adventure, loot, and a good designed map, i recommend this map to all

+4 Mel Oh, also, this map was not 10 plus hours of play time. I was able to complete it (and I took my time) in less than 3 hours.

-1 SpudMonkApe The Aela the Huntress quest is a tough quest because it is hard to find her belongings . If you cannot find it, then forget about it because it is a side quest that has no relevance to the main storyline.
