This is a survival map for Minecraft 1.5. You are stuck in the nether with a couple of items. Your goal is to survive, make it to the over world, and then finish the challenges (Win-room). There are chests scattered around the nether fortress containing pretty useful stuff. The challenges and everything is inside the map.
Rules: -Easy difficulty or above. -Don't destroy any blocks when you feel like you shouldn't (respawn room, etc.). -No cheats or mods that affect gameplay.
Notes: -The water you begin with can be placed but after you place it, the water is there forever. (Do not bucket the water or you lose). -The nether fortress near the place is the only fortress with chests. -There is no point in mining in the nether because there are no ores. -The map uses command blocks, so you have to activate them in multiplayer. -Cheat commands are available so if you really really want to cheat you may use it.
Updates: (1.32) -Removed leather armor from the beginning chest. -Fixed the diamonds. -Made the overworld slightly better. -Reworked the win-room.
Updates: (1.31): -Updated for 1.6 (added horses)
Updates (1.3): -Fixed mob frenzy not working. -Added a lottery machine. -Moved diamond helmet somewhere else... -Other minor changes.

Quote"There is no point in mining in the nether because there are no ores"
Maybe update the map so that there is quartz ore?
"The map uses command blocks, so you will have to activate them in multiplayer."
Recently, an update was released that turned single player game sessions into internal servers. I'm pretty sure the blocks will work.

QuoteNormally, yes, but with inventory mods you can get a special "water" block that can be placed in the Nether. (/give player 9 1)

QuoteTheres nothing to it really. It's just a list of challenges that you must achieve to "win" the map.

QuoteIt's in the bedrock room in the overworld. It's just a tiny hole.

As for the glass, there is a chest in the fortress that contains sand.
