Map Info

The fifth installment in the #PURE parkour map series is out. Due to overall feedback from Pure Void, this map contains twice as many levels and some difficult parkour towards the end. This map is made for single-player use only, the map will not function correctly with more than one player. When playing, your render distance should be above 8. If you're playing on a server be sure to enable command blocks.

What is a #PURE map?

#PURE parkour maps are meant to be more light-hearted than challenging. Less fence-post/4-block/corner/neo jumps, more fun. Less infuriating, more "pure". This map does however contain rather difficult jumps and one very harsh level. Also different from some of the previous maps is that the block effects are explained in the starting room. The average casual gameplay should take 6 - 15 minutes. Anyone who considers themselves skilled at parkour in Minecraft should be able to complete this in less than 6 minutes.

+1 Trevor Hmm. The barriers work for me. Maybe this is because I'm playing on Pure 5 V: 1.1. If it still isn't working for anyone, then you should try making your render distance higher and, if you are playing this in 1.13 or 1.14, try playing this in 1.12.2.

I have only beaten a few levels and this map is GREAT! :-)

As soon as you fall, you cant get back up - and the walkthrough doesn't give any information about this

The walkthrough doesn't give any information at all. Also from re-downloading the map and playing it with all settings listen on this webpage I completed it just fine. I have absolutely no idea as to what anyone here is talking about with the barriers "not working" but my the next update should help with that issue.

+3 Thunder Gabe Overall great map, I only glitched out one and I was easily able to fix that with /kill. My only critique isn't even with the map it is with the times you said the description of the map. Unless you have already played the map there is no way even if you parkour perfectly that you beat this map in under 6 minutes because of the puzzles. I loved the relatively easy parkour, my struggles came from many of levels having the blocks I needed to parkour on in places that are not very visible. I am not saying that is bad, it just makes being able to beat the map within the times you set almost impossible. If you want to see what I mean I made a video on my channel you find by searching " Thunder Gabe Pure Parkour ".

+1 ygyuuffut That was a fun little map you got there.
Well, besides sometimes the barrier does not teleport you.

+1 GriffinGaming96 A great little map. A couple things, though. The barriers at the bottom of the first couple of levels didn't work for me, so you might want to check that out. Maybe the command blocks weren't loaded properly from there?

Also, the second to last level didn't quite work out, as even if you step on the green concrete, you can always just wait it out afterward.

Other than that, great job!
