Map Info:
Limited is a puzzle map that will test your knowledge of Minecraft. There are 8 challenges that will test you on some of minecraft's least known mechanics. Even if you do not know some of the mechanics, there is a hint feature that will help you through the map if you are having troubles! I can almost guarantee that you will learn something from this map, as some of even Minecraft's most expert players will be unsure as to how to progress. Aim to complete the map with as few hints as possible.

Rules:
You may do whatever you need to do to achieve the goal of the level! You will be in survival, so you can mine, place and craft like normal!
Commands are considered cheating.

How are you supposed to get the creeper head in the last one? I had to go to creative to get it sonce I could only spawn 1 in at a time and i need a super charge one to kill a regular one to get the head

You can use any kind of head, that's the reason for the skeleton spawner.

This also works with skeleton heads, which is the second reason why the skeleton spawner is there.
Quoting Ninjahoood:
How did you make everything grow faster or Speed up slow stuff like grass growing fast and wheat grrowing fast?

/gamerule randomTickSpeed . Default is three, I simply bumped it up to about 1000. I also used some command magic to make for example zombie villagers instantly convert into villagers.

The mobs were spawning just fine for me, make sure you build some kind of really dark room around the spawner

Make sure there's grass around the spawner.

How did you make that border? That is...AMAZING MAN!!!

He didn't make that border. Mojang did. All JUSTCAMH did was make it smaller and move it from level to level as you go on.

Are you in 1.8.9? If not, re-download the map and play it in 1.8.9

Make sure you are in 1.8. The map does not work in 1.9.
Quoting Giraffe:
How do you get a mushroom in the second level?

Hints are there for a reason ;). I won't give any spoilers!

I didn't really enjoy this. Don't get me wrong though: the map is impressive and well made, no arguments there. But you make it sound as if people could test their Minecraft knowledge and "learn" things, that's what drew my attention to it. But you're completely ignoring some basic Minecraft physics.

In the first level you make it look as if farmland won't work without water. That's simply not true. Saturated farmland works better; it makes crops grow faster, but it's /not/ a necessity.

The second level makes it appear as if spawners only work in a dark (= completely sealed off) room. Once again that's not true. While zombies may only spawn in areas with limited light (from mind: 7 (or 8) and lower) this doesn't necessarily apply to spawners. Worse yet: a zombie spawner requires a certain free space before it'll work. At least a 6 x 6 area, yet in the second level even a 2 x 2 works.

This becomes more apparent in the level where you need to empty a cauldron. Now all of a sudden the skeleton spawner does work without having to seal the whole area off. That's a bit inconsistent, especially because zombie & skeleton spawners basically fall into the same category.

Now, I know I'm being a bit critical, I'm not negative. As said, the map as a whole is impressive. Controlling the world border like that is pretty slick thinking (even protects your map a bit!) and some of the other puzzles (I didn't finish the map) were very cool and did indeed force you to think about your options and use them.

But yeah; In my opinion it is important to get your facts straight if you're trying to teach people some new Minecraft tricks. Especially if you start denying an approach which would normally have worked without any issues. That's simply annoying, at least for me.

The only thing that was customary modified in this map was the random tick speed. That is why the dirt doesn't hoe properly without water. Also I have not fiddled with any spawner mechanics. The first empty the cauldron level is only just dark enough to spawn the mobs. I can see what your saying with the very first level, however from then on, it was all vanilla. And even still, all I did for the first level was increase the random tick speed, which is a gamerule.

I don't know if it's the update or what, but your second level seems to be broken. On Normal the mobs don't spawn from the spawner, which seems to be the only source of produce. There are multiple dirt and no gravel, which makes the hint wrong. ???

and level 3 is broken as well, with another spawner down...
