Map Info

TOXINS is a singleplayer horror map based in a nuclear wasteland. You are a detective living very close to the wasteland and a report for a missing child named Henry comes through. You have to search your way through the place while seeing mutated animals, burning buildings, and even scarier things.

You moved to Chernobyl a couple of years ago and ever since then you have felt a little off. You are a detective hired by the CM (Chernobyl Mysteries) and have done many cases in the past, both in Michigan, USA, where you used to live, and Chernobyl, Ukraine, Where you live now.

When you get a call by your CM partner about a boy that went missing a few weeks back, you never anticipate that this may be a bad idea. You go for a ride to the given place where the boy was last seen. Little did you know, this was an adventure that you didn't come prepared for...

If you spawn outside of the white little building, you can walk along the grass area with repeaters underneath in order to get back in! I'm so sorry for the inconvenience but the setspawn command never worked for some reason!

Ah, Thank you very much for your help, i'll make sure to try this path out next time i log onto Minecraft.

Dear Willemcross,

I'm gonna be honest here, this map is not great. It is really confusing and messy. Things are all over the place, some spots arent barricaded off correctly, so you can escape the map. You find your car, then suddenly you get teleported to the other side of the city to try to find your key (which makes no sense). The idea is great, the textures are great, but poorly executed. I really, really reccommend you to download other horror maps, see how they are done, and then create your own. I'm not saying you should COPY those maps, but it will give you a better idea on how a map should be made. You did a few things right with command blocks, like adding a system where you cant go in gamemode creative, however some parts of the redstone and command blocks are exposed around the map, you should make a seperate box for example underground housing all the command blocks to make everything look cleaner. Also, if you are gonna make a map like this, make sure to give the player saturation, so their hunger bar doesnt go down, unless you give food in certain chests. Also, dont use barriers around the map, it's better to place a bunch of trees with barriers around those trees so you cant leave, but to make it less confusing since there's no invisible wall to run against to try to find something.

As I said, the idea is great, but it's poorly executed.
Take this as advice, not hate, for your future maps.

I am currently working on a much better map compared to this one. Much better redstone and layout. Thanks for the feedback and I realize this map was horrible as it was my first map.

It's there, keep looking!Quoting SONAKINCI ☾★:
the version is wrong

The resource pack version should say it is for a different version. Even after you apply it to your game it should work perfectly fine!

Hello there! i'm quite interested in playing your map, it looks amazing from the trailer.
I have read the rules. Seeing starting outside might be a common thing i know there wasn't something wrong. Though, i'm not sure where i'm supposed to go to read the rules. I've tried to go where i was able to see buildings but was only stopped by invisible blocks. So if it's okay to ask, Is there a certain path or house i'm supposed to be getting into?
(I hope this message wasn't bothersome. Since i only meant it to be a call for help to be able to play your map. Though, Thank you for taking the time to read this and reply to it if you do so, I hope you have a good day.)
