Map Info

Our story begins with our hero, the town Blacksmith, deep down a mineshaft hard at work gathering materials for his blacksmith shop. Suddenly, the roar of a dragon echoes throughout the mineshaft and the ceiling begins to crumble and cave in on him.

Set on revenge against those who've done this damage and taken his family, he sets off on an adventure that will take him great distances and to other dimensions meeting new friends and powerful foes along the way.

Thank you! We'll check out your series. The best way to get notified of when part 2 releases (and possibly get early access) is to follow @connorcat217 on twitter.

Just tried it another few times, still not working. Turned up from 7 to 15. Let me know if you want me to try anything else. I won't give up yet lol

Thanks for trying and a big thank you for your patience! There are 2 options I can give you, 1) re-download and start fresh with your render distance set to at least 12-15 and that should work, or option 2) switch to /gamemode c, go down the stairs into the governor's basement and break a hole in the wall on the right, you should see some redstone behind the wall. Follow the redstone into a room with signs on the wall and look for the sign that says 2. Walk through that opening, you'll see a piston and 3 command blocks, go to the command block on the right. To the right of that block you'll see a trail of redstone. Break the piece of redstone that is touching the command block and replace it with a redstone torch. A redstone block should have just appeared behind you that will power up the dialogue circuit. Switch back to /gamemode a and go back to the Governor to activate the next set of dialogue. That should get you unstuck; if it doesn't, let us know and we'll try to figure out a different solution. :)

Sorry this is happening to a few of you. We can't replicate the same glitch on the multiple computers we've tried this on so we don't know exactly how to diagnose the problem. I'm curious if your render distance is set too low and the entire redstone circuit isn't rendering in and can't complete. Can you try turning your render distance up to at least 15 chunks and letting us know if that fixes the glitch or not?

OK so i've tried going back into the mine 5 times to trigger the chest for dialogue and it's still not working. I'm not sure what else I can do. I am playing 1.11.2 and everything else is as well. I've walked around the chest multiple times, even jumped on top of it a couple times and still nothing. Is there any way I can just bypass this? I really love it so far and don't want to stop playing because of this :(

To all that have the same problem as this, it's a bit complicated to fix, but you need to go into gamemode 3, go under his house to find the command block with the dialogue and place a redstone torch there to activate it. The command block is also next to a long redstone path (that should be lit up too). Hope this helps :)

+1 Kaida_Gamer This map is absolutely amazing, can't wait for part 2. It took me a while to complete this map, so I separated it into 7 different parts. But I had fun playing it and I don't mind that it took a while to complete. Here's the link to part 1 of my let's play.

This map was amazing. I'm in the process of filming/editing a let's play video of this map. The only suggestion I have is that it was a little annoying when I kept respawning back in the overworld every time the dragon killed me and I kept having to climb up the narrow obsidian stairs. Sometimes the dragon would even knock me off the stairs, though I cut out some of the ender dragon fight for time reasons. In other words, I was really bad at fighting the ender dragon and it took me forever. Great map though and once I post the videos I'll make sure to link this page and put a link to the videos in this comment section.

Thanks for your review. The respawning back in the overworld thing is a minecraft limitation. As far as I know there's no easy way to make a player respawn in the end if they die there.

+3 Ellenoria The quest for the governor was broken for me as well, but it was just a minor redstone bug. I don't know if this fix has been posted yet or not, but when you pick up the crystal, sometimes the redstone block in the command strings won't get placed. The coords for the block are correct, but I got the message "Block cannot be placed outside of the world"
To fix the error just put a redstone block down on the coords it's supposed to go and he will talk to you. You'll have to go to creative to fix the redstone block. I don't have the coords on me but if you follow the line of redstone from the crystal's chest you'll find the right one.
(again posting without reading the 8 pages of comments first so sorry if i repeated)
