Minecraft Java Edition has 22 music discs from 7 different artists. Each disc has a unique comparator output value (1 to 15), a specific duration, and a different method of obtaining, from the classic Skeleton-kills-Creeper drop to archaeology and Trial Chamber vaults.
The Minecraft music disc reference above lists every disc with its artist, track length,
comparator signal strength, and a /give command. The comparator output values are especially useful for redstone builders who use
jukeboxes as input devices in circuits.
Disc durations range from just 71 seconds (
"11" by C418) to 345 seconds (
"blocks" by C418), so picking the right disc matters for timed redstone contraptions.

Redstone music selectors: A comparator reading a jukebox outputs signal strength 1 to 15 depending on the disc. This lets you build disc-detection circuits that trigger different outcomes based on which track is playing. For example, disc "5" outputs 15 (max signal) while "13" outputs 1 (minimum).
Disc farming: Most
C418 discs drop when a Skeleton's arrow kills a Creeper. Build a two-mob farm that funnels Skeletons and Creepers into a kill chamber where the Skeleton's arrows finish off low-health Creepers. This is the standard disc farm design.
Rare disc hunting:
Pigstep is the rarest disc in survival. It only appears in Bastion Remnant generic chests with a low drop rate. "5" requires collecting 9
disc fragments from Ancient City chests.
"Relic" is found exclusively through archaeology in Trail Ruins.
Ambient music builds: Use a hopper clock feeding discs into a jukebox to create an ambient music system for your base. Space the hoppers to account for disc duration so the next track plays after the current one finishes.
22 music discs from 7 different artists: C418 (13 discs), Lena Raine (4 discs), Aaron Cherof (2 discs), Samuel Aberg, Amos Roddy, Hyper Potions, and fingerspit (1 disc each).
Most C418 discs drop when a Skeleton kills a Creeper with an arrow. Special discs have unique sources: Pigstep (Bastion Remnants), otherside (Strongholds and Dungeons), Relic (Trail Ruins archaeology), 5 (Ancient City fragments), and Creator and Creator (Music Box) (Trial Chamber vaults).
Each disc outputs a unique signal strength from 1 to 15 when played in a jukebox with an attached comparator. The disc 13 outputs 1, and 5 outputs the maximum of 15. Some comparator values are shared between newer discs.
blocks by C418 at 345 seconds (5 minutes 45 seconds). The second longest is Precipice by Aaron Cherof at 299 seconds. The shortest is 11 by C418 at just 71 seconds.
