What a piglin gives you for one gold ingot. Every trade rolls this table once.
The table
Roll it yourself
Rolling a hundred times is the quickest way to see why a 2 percent drop feels so much rarer than it sounds on paper.
A loot table does not store a percentage. It stores a weight per entry, and the chance is that weight over the total. Bartering totals 459, so an entry weighted 40 comes out at 8.71 percent and one weighted 5 at 1.09 percent.
That is why the numbers here look untidy. Rounding them to a clean 10 percent would be easier to read and wrong often enough to matter when you are planning a gold farm or counting how many trades a netherite hoe is worth. The roller under each table is the honest version of the same maths: press it a hundred times and the spread you get is the spread the game gives you.
1.07 percent, the rarest thing on the table. A piglin picks one entry from nineteen, and the soul speed book carries a weight of 5 against a total of 469. Obsidian, crying obsidian, fire charges, leather, soul sand, nether brick, spectral arrows, gravel and blackstone are the common results at 8.53 percent each.
The treasure table has six entries at equal weight, so a saddle is one in six of any treasure catch. Getting treasure at all is the harder part: without Luck of the Sea it is roughly 5 percent of casts, and the enchantment raises that while cutting the junk share.
Mostly no. Looting raises the maximum count on ordinary drops rather than adding new entries, so a zombie still drops rotten flesh, just more of it. The exceptions are the rare equipment drops and a handful of mob specific items that are gated behind Looting.
The loot table JSON inside the game itself, not a wiki page. Every weight, chance, and count range on this page is read from those files, which is why the percentages carry two decimals rather than being rounded to something memorable.
Mostly, and the Bedrock switch shows Bedrock's own tables. The differences: fish drop a bone 25% of the time on Bedrock instead of bone meal 5% on Java, polar bears drop both cod and salmon, pillagers drop arrows, and a rabbit drops raw rabbit only half the time.
