Map Info: The rules of Speed Run are about as simple as it gets. You choose your color, and then run through obstacles as fast as you can while punching your buddies with cake until you are rewarded with fireworks at the finish. Once at the finish you can see your time and compare it to your the other racers. Lowest time wins. If you finish early you can listen to some tunes and get on the viewing platform to watch others finish. You can even go meet Santa! Once everyone finishes the race you can head back to the start and mess with map settings. You can turn it from night to day, sunny to rainy, and choose from 3 different race speeds.
Zones: Town street, highway, farm, sky, Pacman, birch forest, end forest, nether forest, more wood forest, running track with hurdles, snowman land, ice canyon, village, cave, underground highway, city street, indie car racetrack, and finish!
When you finished running the course a few times, feel free to turn into creative mode and check out the map. If you explore closely, you will find quite a few random surprises you never would've guessed were there! Example: There is a squid man in the color choosing room ;)

QuoteThose are some awesome ideas! I especially like the upside down one but I'm not sure how I can do that yet. Maybe with barrier floors or a ceiling possibly? Anyways thanks for the ideas ;)

QuoteThat was a joke. Anyways, nice job on the map, glad to see that download number skyrocketing. As to your comment about new areas, I had some ideas.
Temple
Nether
End
Mushroom Forest
Clouds
Upside Down (that would be very fun to play)
Through Houses (village or otherwise)
That's just some I thought of on the fly. Good luck with the second iteration!

QuoteIf your friends are on the same internet/WiFi then just hit the "ESC" key for the game pause menu, then click "Open to LAN". Select game mode adventure and then click start LAN world. If your friends want to join they can simply go to multiplayer and at the bottom should be your world. If you want to join your friends over different WiFi connections then you will have to create a server which can be complicated. In this case you should probably search a tutorial video on how to do so. Hope this helped fix your troubles!

QuoteTo answer your question, no, there isn't any checkpoints. However you shouldn't need any. You receive super speed so you can complete the race fast. Also, as far as I know there isn't a way to die if you use the recommended settings.
