This map has several roman monuments and buildings like the Colosseum, the Pantheon and some buildings of the Forum Romanum in the capital Rome.
Not far away from the eternal city are some other cities located like the town of Tivoli. This small town is surrounded by waterfalls and parks. Underneath this town lies a complete tunnelsystem with ancient chambers. This town is ready to be explored!
This map also contains some other cities which have the same Italian look. One of the other cities is Pisa, which contains a part of the river Arno, the cathedral and the tower of Pisa.
Other than Rome and Pisa you'll have some randomly spread buildings which are factitious and do not really exist.
For the best ambience, use the Halcyon Days or John Smith resource packs.
I hope you'll enjoy it. Like I said, it's not finished yet and I'm still working on it!!

QuoteI froze the time so I could build in daylight. Builds much easier ;)
You can turn the cheatcode off by yourself, but I do not know the code for it...

QuoteYou're correct. Some signs do show places and cities that aren't build yet. (like Vatican City) They're about to be build when I have enought time for it.

QuoteHey I_Wolfy, I'm sorry for the random spawnpoint. I,ll fix it later up... The coords to the nearest building are X:-244,Z:-817. From these coords you'll find the rest of the buildings and cities. I hope this 'll be enough

Quoteor make the spawn at it?

QuoteHey CasualCheetah,
You're right about the Vatican and the other monuments. These aren't build yet. I'm currently working on several cities near Rome like for example the town Tivoli with gardens like Villa D'este. When I'm finished with this town, I'll be building monuments, churches and houses in Rome again.
Thanks for your comment!

QuoteThank you for being okay with it. I'm making an adventure map and I would love to use some of your buildings from this map.
I will of course put credit to you, with your name and a link to this map.

QuoteHey leleeelelel,
It would be great if my map became an Adventure map. I am not very strictly with policies and copyright etc. So you can use my map, but it would be appreciated and rightious if you used the name of the original creator (Giovanni32).
Thank you for notifying me!

QuoteI'm making an adventure map, although i'm a terrible builder (And I would never use someone else's map without consent). If you'd like to accept my offer, please email me at bronsonlevicarter

QuoteI've created this map mostly with the Halcyon Days texturepack, but I have changed a lot of the existing textures for the best results in the architecture of the buildings. The edited version of Halcyon Days will be downloadable soon.
So the Halcyon Days texturepack is currently the most recommended.
But the Johnsmith texturepack is also an option.
