+2 2_Z_Zach Before I type this review, I'd like to preface that I have a lot of experience with command blocks and have used them to make dynamic adventures before on servers I've run in the past. I've also played several Zelda-like adventure maps and am a huge fan of them as well as the Zelda series as a whole. Now, on to the review

-Overview-

I feel bad to say this but there are a lot of flaws with the map that ruined the experience for me, which is a shame because I LOVE the world design and the open-world approach you took. It's hard to make a good open-world experience in adventure maps, and for that I commend you. Unfortunately outside of that it's hard to say anything else positive about it. I'll split this into sections

-Story/Plot-

Absolutely zero plot whatsoever. Which is incredibly disappointing because these kinds of maps can greatly benefit from a good story. In another comment I noticed you were going for a more "Breath of the Wild" approach with a lack of story. I find that a bit silly because even BOTW had a story, but I digress.

-Dungeons-

The dungeon design was cramped, uninspired, and too simple. Puzzles were rudimentary and reduced to either parkour or find the lever puzzles. Bosses were just regular mobs and you can literally skip them. Not only that, but in order to leave the dungeon you have to backtrack to the beginning(!). That's extremely frustrating especially with the precise parkour in the lava dungeon. There was also a lot of thematic clashing (lava in the forest dungeon, water in the fire dungeon, blaze in the water temple).

-Redstone/Commands-

Barely any commands in place. You relied on signs to mark entering/leavin g locations which is very grating. The /title command goes a long way. I've already touched on the simplistic puzzles so I won't repeat that here.

-World Design-

The only thing I liked about this map. The world itself was awesome! I loved the free-form exploration and all the secret dungeons I found (of the ones I did find, anyway). Although I wish there were some more villagers in the villages. They felt so empty. With 1.14's job/home system you could have easily made villagers stay in their place. Also disabling natural mob spawns would have been nice. One more gripe I have was how none of the armor/weapons were permanent, even the legendary "Gold digger" was a GOLD PICKAXE with Unbreaking III. Even with UnbrIII that's not going to take it far and making it "Unbreakable" with commands would have gone a long way.

-Rating: 2/5-

I'm sad to say this, but this map had too many flaws for me to enjoy. The world design was it's main saving grace and the reason it got 2 stars instead of 1. If you want to improve I suggest learning commands in depth, websites like McStacker are godsends for people like me who didn't want to memorize all the syntaxes.

P.S. If you ever want to collaborate, I am really good at command blocks and could be your programmer if you wish. I also presume you're German because of some of the item names. I'm American but I know basic German and would love to practice with somebody.

Shoot me an email if you want to take my offer:

0 User25 I liked the map, although it is not a very complex map, with 50 trillion command blocks, it is a daora map, it really reminds me a lot of zelda, it even has some references, one thing I found strange was the name of the last temple " temple of time" like, it didn't have much to do with the temple of time, it didn't actually involve time travel and stuff... the name could be "Dark Temple" which would make more sense, but... the my grade for this map is 7/10, it was pretty cool, if this is one of your first maps, congratulations , you have a future

+10 NoahFinn05 Really fun! As I was exploring i found a lot of empty chests the biggest place being the graveyard near oculus town. The inspiration by LoZ is evident and as a fan i really enjoyed that. Was a bit short but I know its hard to make a long map. I found that you could "cheese" a lot of things for example passive mobs would step on the pressure plates at the pet shop and change my game to survival but i still made sure i played the map fair and with the fire res potions from villagers you could basically breeze past the fire temple (again i didnt do this because i want the
experience). Overall great map the exploration factor was incredible and all the dungeons/temple s were fun but could use more fighting mobs. 7/10 map!

+2 Noobcrafter Everything worked for me and it was nicely built. A few times I had to try to figure out where it was I was going to get to the next temple, which was meh. Also, there could've been some sort of button after the boss areas that could've teleported you back to the beginning of the temple. I found that back tracking all the way through the temples was a bit irritating and added to the boringness of the map in general. From there I'll say the map was a bit boring and the temples were extremely easy to pass through, save for a few times you question where you're supposed to go next.

Overall the map is a 6/10 imo, there could've been some things that were done a bit better.

+13 Nightsun64 Good map, the exploration is well rewarded and the dungeons are very cool, but I think I ran into a bit of a problem.
The map could have a limit of sorts so you dont get too off track since there are encouraged off track caves and dungeons,
also my bosses didnt spawn? Also my gold digger didnt work, do I need to have some sort of mod or is it faulty or something?

+3 Matthew Hello!
Just wanted to say, I had a lot of fun with this map and that it's seriously inspiring and creative. I loved the idea of creating an open world map, that I decided to began one as well! IMO, I'm starting to get tired of the set parkour and command heavy mini-games that are set in a 6x6 quartz or iron cube. Great job with this one!

-2 IceTooth22 I saw my brother playing this map and i just had to try it! It is so good that I just had to make a video about it! amazing map! all the biulds look amazing and I love how you managed to mix parcore, puzzles, and boss/monster fighting so well! Amazing! but, one thing could be a little better, I didn't have inuff money at the beginning and had too much once I passed the forest temple,
but over all, its just a tiny error in a spectacular map! Thank You BioHaZ4rD311!
PS, i'll send you the video once its finished

I really love the map and would love to continue on but I am having trouble on the fire temple. In that part where you pull the lever after going through the maze of lava and magna. It's kinda like a mix between a parkour course and maze I guess? I pull a lever and hear a door open. I cant find what it opened though. Help please

There is a room at the end of the maze that leads you to the Boss. You could use a little trick: enter the maze and go always left. It will take some time but you will find the exit if you have problems.

Hey...I was playing the map and I kinda locked myself in the dark dungeon. There is no way out of that room as the iron door is closed by a lever on the other side. Is there anything I could do about it?

If you play in Singleplayer do this: Escape Button to open menu --> Open to LAN --> Allow Cheats to ON --> Start LAN
Then set the command: "/gamemode 1" (without "") to get in Creative Mode

+2 a305900 Honestly, it was an awesome map. It was very well designed, creative, and one of a kind. And it was a delight to play. Expeditious, meticulous, and enjoyable.

My friend and I made a series of this map. If you'd want to check it out, you can find the first video here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRB9o129eg8

Plus, anyone who may need help on this map, or would just like to see it played through can follow this link. Also, if I had found any bugs or problems with the map, the creator could see where they're at and fine-tune your map. Thanks!

Cool idea, very interested in how you made it to where only the gold digger could break gold blocks.
Some areas needed work though like, the temples, all of them were just jump quests and I didn't like how the WATER temple boss was a blaze.
Also, all of the boses were too easy. Death had no consequence.
You need more interaction with NPC's. I hardly spend any diamond all game.

Thanks for your feedback! You can set a command: /give @p minecraft:iron_ pickaxe 1 0 {CanDestroy:["m inecraft:gold_b lock"]}

+1 Colonel_Treize This is a amazing map. I love the simplicity of the whole map. It is amazingly huge, but not too huge. I loved the concept. Amazing map 10/10

I played it with the new King Arthur film-score in the background made it 100% more fun. I'm weird like that.

10/10 would play again.

0 RandomPerson this was an amazing map with seemingly never ending secrets. The temples also had a good level of difficulty. I did find one bug though and that's that you can't place the pet spawn eggs since it is adventure mode. other than that though this is one of the best maps I've played

This Map... WAS BAD
I Didn't Like It... All Of The Temples Were WAY To Simple And Easy, There Was Zero Story, And It Felt Like There Was Very Little Effort Put Into The Map At All, If You Want A Good Map Based On The Legend Of Zelda, Try Eternal Darkness Or The Legend Of Steve, Both Are Fantastic Maps And Are Much Better Than This One
Squiddly Score:
One Star...
Sorry

Thanks for your feedback. I have to say that the map ist just "inspired" by Zelda games, It's a bit like the new game "Breath of the Wild" and focuses on exploring, not on the story. The map took us countless hours to build, We startet to build on it since Minecraft Beta 1.7.3 and decided to share it with the international community now :)
