This is Beyond Below, a Hollow Knight inspired dungeon crawler.

This map is also made in tribute to Deep In Dungeon, and Crypt Crawler.

Slowly make your descent into the vast caves, an unique and magical underground where no man has come out alive. Your origins are unknown, and what you find below is only there for those who decide to find it. Find out what awaits you at the end in this semi-open world dungeon craw

0 Pvt_Winters There is another bug that I forgot to point out in my previous comment.

I know that the Wither Skeletons in the King's Den were supposed to be deadly, except that they were literally harmless here because they die immediately upon spawning (even when I set the difficulty to hard). Maybe it's due to a programming error where they were spawned with zero health?

Again, note that playing in multiplayer can lead to game breaking bugs and nothing has been tested for multiple players. The only thing that can affect whether or not mobs will spawn is your gamemode. If you're not in adventure mode, they will not spawn.

+2 Arria the Dragon AWESOME MAP!!! Between the builds, the combat, and the AMESOME plot, this was one of my favourite Minecraft maps. I do have to say though, In the Dark Deep might I suggest adding SOMETHING to highlight how to get to the spawn. I literally couldn't find it, it was too dark even with everything on full brightness. So I kept respawning in the water biome. It was still WICKED COOL, just a bit tedious? And I literally didn't even know there was a honey biome until the end. I completely skipped it. I don't know if that's intentional design? But while spectating at the end I was kinda bummed i didn't get to play through it.

Other than that? Awesome map, 10/10 would play again and probably will. Your an amazing builder and the codes were awesome. Had to keep getting rid of extra Milk and Swords from the Soul Sand tho? Dun know if it's supposed to duplicate items like that? Gave me an extra gate key too. I didn't use them because it seemed like a bug and I wanted to finish legitimately. ALSO THE LIL VILLAGER PLACE WAS SO CUTE!!!! I kept accidently throwing my gems behind the counter XD Honestly, and amazing map despite the few hiccups along the way. Thank you so much for this amazing map and experience!!

+2 Fulguriens I would say that this map absolutely requires some sort of dynamic lights mod, like optifine because an entire section is super dark. The fast travel teleport system was a great idea! The music in this map was top notch! It kept improving, and became the highlight in the The King's boss fight. Wish there was a little dialogue from the king though, like the higher beings. Thanks for the debug book! I really did just loose my sword in the enderchest after I just clicked on it after getting fire aspect charm. The adventurer's bag was useful to store gems from
enemies, and sometimes essence. Pure essence was useful to upgrade weapons when I didn't have the next essence.

First part was a really good place, it rewards exploration with the first charm and the axe. It is difficult but to a good extent. Very good introduction! The money system is done very well, I was afraid that I wouldn't have enough money to buy what I want at the end but the amount of money you can get in the end was enough to get all charms and all tools.

Second part was the hardest, the witches were the biggest problem, wish they were in the later part of the map. Those gals were the reason why I died to this part the most, and gave me fear that I wouldn't be able to buy stuff and was loosing money. Making enemies one time spawns was a good idea. But there was only 1 checkpoint in second part, it would have been better to put another one after the dripleaf parkour. I am a big noob so I would have given up if I didn't realise that I could use gamemode 3 because cheats were enabled in this map. The golden chickens are a nice collectable but they weren't rewarding enough sadly, unless they gave magic milk.

Third part was really good because of easy map traversal due to the waterfalls that go all the way from the bottom to the top where the checkpoint is. Even though we could just skip all the fighting by jumping down the water and killing the gate key holder. Plus thank you for the bridges, they were super cool! Shulkers helped in dragging the skeletons down to their deaths. No fall damage was a good idea! thanks!, even though it could have been a random charm effect.

Fourth part was also nice! but the drowned were a little slow, those bloated were no challenge sadly. I loved the aesthetic of this place. The trident drowned were placed sparingly so they were balanced, those guys have high damage so it would be difficult if they were everywhere. Guardians could have been used more though. Sealantern headed fellows in the dry caves underwater would have been cool cause of dynamic lighting. Those skeletons in coal mining caves with torches were a good idea. This area had a really good checkpoint placement inside the caves after all the swimming.

Deep Dark just kicked you out into darkness and really strong opponents with no checkpoints or shop villagers... I didn't bring a lantern here and just died without getting the checkpoint sadly.. It was a fun a challenge but very hopeless without light. This is the only place where the villagers have been killed off so I couldn't get items.. I had to cheat and fly all the way back to buy the lantern and stuff I needed.
I loved the fact that I could go into The Hive - fifth part without the gatekeeper. Getting the pickaxe was very rewarding. I killed the gatekeeper and got an extra key that I required heavily.

The Hive- fifth part, I am pretty sure you have seen the complaints about bees not being used. command magic could have been used to make those guys enemies. Otherwise, this section was quite easy compared to the Deep Dark's pillagers, that one ravager and cave spiders.
Part 6 was my favourite, the level design was really good here, and the shield was very useful against everyone, especially hoglins. The... gatekeeper and his key burned away in lava, (I had fire resistance charm) The kills were a bit too rewarding lol because I got everything I needed at the end of this part. All the essences I wanted, I used prismatic scythe at the end because it gave extra speed, I couldn't find the dagger.
Part 7 The cavern section here was really good, and the checkpoint, villager and forge placement were perfect. Piglins can't jump the gaps in the bridge though.. so I could sadly cheese that. But king's checkpoint is the biggest cheese sadly, and the king's beast was a fun fight, I didn't need to cheese, and knew how to use shields at the end after fighting hoglins.

I hope you keep making maps, and didn't stop because of how tiring this one project has been. I hope you make something that is more replayable and needs less effort to create next time? Because I am pretty sure you are improving really well. Thank you for the map!

use the immortal pet dog the map gives you (possibly for free, I bought a charm for it) and run circles around them, primitive, but it works... that and their poison is very weak... and then you have vexes which are almost nowhere in the map and harmless when they do exist, so I say praise the mapmaker, for he has been very merciful so far... lmao

Due to its complete lack of environmental lighting, the only way for you to see anything in it at all is to hold the Lantern that is bought from the shop, AND having Optifine installed in your MC client (Smooth lighting doesn't let you see in the dark with the lantern). I hated how this map is one that forces you to install Optifine to be able to get through a section, just when I was enjoying the earlier parts of the map...

Seriously, just because Optifine is useful and popular doesn't mean every single players of MC in the world wants to install it!

+1 ZeroTwo I found a bug in the village after the mines where I got the spawn point at the village, but when exploring the village you end up running over the first checkpoint at the mines which triggers it. so whenever you die you end up respawning there instead of at the village spawn point.
