You don't unlock the world. You grow it.
You start on a small platform in the clouds with a young tree, three composters, a starter chest, bees and chickens. You carry 24 bone meal. Your Journal sits in hotbar slot 9 and can't be lost.
Feed bone meal to a glowing bud. When it's full, a branch grows where you look.
Each branch ends in an island. Its biome depends on how high it is and what's around it.
A gift chest at the end of each branch gives back half of what you fed.
Compost leaves, seeds, crops and flowers for more bone meal. Farms are your income.
Prune a branch at its knot with an axe. Regrowing it gives the same island back.
17 biomes, each with three or four everyday looks and 30 small builds among them.
About one branch in eight brings a surprise, and the game never tells you why.
Stars fall near your tree, full of ore and lava that cools.
Storms scorch old branches, and something new grows from the ash.
Grow above the clouds (y 180) and you'll find out the sky was never empty.
Invite family from the Journal. Only the owner and the family can build, feed, prune or open chests on a tree.
Strangers plant their own tree about 600 blocks away and can't touch yours.
Gentle mode: the tree catches you when you fall and you keep your items. Hardcore: the mist is deadly.
On a Realm, the owner should join alone first, since the first player to join owns the first tree.
Minecraft Bedrock 26.50–26.52. No experimental toggles. The behavior and resource packs are inside the world, so you install nothing else. Works on Realms and Bedrock Dedicated Servers.
