At 10 nm/block, this is an animation of the life cycle of the minimal bacteria cell (JCVI-syn3A). Watch the DNA (yellow wool) and the ribosomes (red wool + red concrete) separate as the cell divides over the course of 1200 biological seconds. This animation contains 30 animation timeframes, and may be paused, restarted, and set at any point in time.
