This entire map was made by hand, one block at a time in Vanilla Bedrock, without the use of world editors or texture packs. I am only one person — I have been building this for nearly 15 years.
This latest remodel is the closest I've ever come to building the world I see in my head — a balance of imagination, realism, and the kind of world where turning a corner actually means something.
I've studied countless 'complete' ship builds over the years, and while many are impressive, none captured the functional identity and lived-in logic I wanted to experience with rooms like the engine rooms, bomb magazines, mess halls, even a post office! This update is my attempt to change that.
If you choose to explore it, I hope you feel the same sense of place, purpose, and atmosphere that guided every room, corridor, and deck. This isn't just a build — it's a world meant to be walked through.
HERE IS A BREAKDOWN OF WHAT THIS WORLD CONSISTS OF:
Xiàmiàn City — COMPLETELY REMODELED FROM THE FIRST MAP POSTED 13 YEARS AGO
A fully realized subterranean environment, rebuilt and refined over several years.
100+ fully furnished apartments
Recreational, shopping, and sports areas
Layered transit routes and vertical circulation
Distinct districts with a unified architectural identity
Warm, atmospheric lighting throughout
This is not a surface build placed underground — it is a true internal structure, carved and developed with real-world spatial logic. It looks complete from the surface. It goes on forever underneath.
THE NAVAL DOCK — TWO FULLY EXPLORABLE WARSHIPS
Anchored beyond the city are two large-scale Cold War–era vessels, each over 450 blocks long, built with complete internal layouts and functional deck systems.
USS Missouri (BB-63)
Built in her 1950s configuration:
Fully explorable interior decks and passageways
Accurate superstructure and radar systems
Machinery and operational spaces
Complete underwater hull
Realistic battleship layout and proportions
USS Essex (CVA-9)
Modeled in SCB-125 configuration (angled deck + hurricane bow):
Open hangar deck with recessed partitioning
Gallery deck workspaces overlooking the hangar
Catapults, blast deflectors, and Cold War flight markings
Multi-deck island with radar arrays and antenna systems
Complete underwater hull with 4 screws and rudder
Layered "ship within a ship" internal structure from refit design
This is a true carrier build — structured, navigable, and grounded in real naval architecture.
Once you have become familiar with this world, remember that selected areas have been intentionally left undeveloped — designed for player expansion, customization, and creative interpretation. You're welcome to modify the ships, add new divisions, or reshape compartments to fit your own vision. The goal is to offer a solid base that players can build upon in their own way. I'd love to see what you create with it.
Thank you to everyone who supports the project. If you enjoy the world, a Diamond helps visibility and is greatly appreciated. Comments are always welcome — I'd love to hear what stood out to you.
