Welcome to Potted Madness, a custom Superflat survival challenge set in an endless world of deepslate and flower pots.
Instead of gathering resources from forests, caves, and structures, you begin by breaking the pots covering the surface. Each pot drops random pottery sherds with different rarities. These sherds are the foundation of the map’s progression and can be used for crafting or exchanged with custom villagers.
The villagers provide access to otherwise difficult or unobtainable resources, including water and lava, brewing ingredients, potions, powerful enchanted weapons, Trial Chamber items, Wither materials, Shulker Boxes, and other special rewards.
The map contains several custom recipes designed to make progression possible in this unusual world.
Pottery sherds can be recycled into new flower pots, allowing the main gameplay loop to continue.
Flower pots can be turned into bricks through crafting, smelting, or blasting.
Bricks can then be used to craft a Crafting Table and Decorated Pots. Decorated Pots can also be created by smelting or blasting brick blocks.
Additional recipes allow you to craft clay from Cobbled Deepslate and obtain copper by smelting iron.
The End can also be reached through custom progression. End Stone can be crafted using sandstone and an Ender Pearl, while End Portal Frames require End Stone, obsidian, and a diamond.
Break pots, collect rare sherds, unlock new resources, build your base, reach the Nether and the End, and defeat the Ender Dragon.
