This near-atomistic computer simulation of the minimal cell (2.5 Angstroms per block) shows the fine details of cell biology like never before. The rollercoaster ride takes you through the green plasma membrane studded with blue membrane proteins. You then ride along the glowstone DNA strand with its characteristic double helix shape and around the many red cytosolic proteins.
