Story so far:
A once-thriving hotel, Healdale Retreat, abruptly shuttered its doors in 2005, shrouded in an unsettling mystery. Whispers and speculations about the cause of its closure swept through the town, leaving a chilling sense of unease. It wasn't until the authorities intervened that the disturbing truth was unveiled: four lifeless victims had been discovered within the confines of Healdale Retreat.
The revelation sent shockwaves through the community, and the weight of these tragedies left the hotel with no choice but to cease operations. Yet, to this day, the exact circumstances surrounding these four enigmatic incidents remain concealed in shadow, casting an eerie and haunting pall over Healdale Retreat's abandoned halls.
Fascinated by the unsolved mystery, you made the decision to explore the grounds of Healdale Retreat, eagerly anticipating the possibility of uncovering the answers to this long-cold case by yourself.
About the map:
"Healdale Retreat" is the inaugural map in a new series that I've been working on. It's a story-driven and atmospheric Minecraft horror mystery map, set in the enigmatic Healdale Retreat hotel, similar to the Panoris series but unrelated to the series. I started writing a new series because panoris is reaching her conclusion.
While multiplayer is supported, the map was primarily designed for a single-player experience, so there may be some bugs if played with multiple participants. Beside that even though jumpscares aren't the main focus of the map it still contains a few.
Features:
- 15 - 60 minutes long map depending on how much exploration you do (and how much you get lost)

Preferred settings & rules:
- Put the brightness between 20 and 80%
- Put the render and simulation distance on 8 or higher
- Turn smooth lighting off
- Ambient 5%, records 100% and the other sound volumes up to your choice
