Map Info

Crash-landed in a futuristic city inhabited by very talkative robots, your only hope of escape is to locate four ancient batteries known as sources. Build tactically with an infinite supply of holoblocks to overcome hordes of custom monsters and unravel Sol Corp City's dark and mysterious past. Four devious dungeons full of dangers await...do you have what it takes to return home?

Totality is a scifi adventure map from the creator of Gloria, Monstrosity, and the adventure branch of Diversity 2. While the map is played in adventure mode, its gameplay takes inspiration from the CTM ("Complete the Monument") genre of maps. Dungeons are carefully designed to not only test your combat skills, but also your ability to build tactically. Shape your environment to your advantage to overcome the map's many challenges.

+1 Cold Fusion Excited to announce that I've just finished implementing a new NPC that can help you locate artifacts, items, and even the power sources! Hopefully this new in-game hint system will save some frustration. :)

Hey, if you could help me, im missing the funnel, the book and the Blaze rod.

The funnel can be found somewhere within the Fungi Film Studio.
The book is somewhere near the cathedral.
And the blaze rod is just off the monorail.
Hope this helps! Good luck!

Where do I find the power sources? I've found 8 of the artifacts and 7 of the legendary items but not a single power sources.

The power sources are pretty well hidden, deep within the map's 4 main areas. Each of them can be found within a small box built out of glass and bricks. As you explore, keep your eyes peeled for redstone torches -- often they mark the path toward the sources!

Amazing map imo, but I lost the trident to the void (magenta mountain). Perhaps you should fix that in future updates.

Thanks for the bug report. There's a check in place that should return the trident if it falls below y=1, but maybe it still slipped through due to lag. I'll see what I can do to fix this.

Hi there,

About speedrun mode, I don't really like the fact that you skip the cutscenes after acquiring the blocks. I would like it better if speedrun mode only skipped the dialogue.

Also, I'm finding a weird glitch where I can't hold right click to place the holoblocks and I can't place them while shifting. I don't know if it's just me.

Good feedback to have. The main reason I decided to skip the cutscenes was because the teleports could cause some lag spikes. I can make this an option in a future version of the map.

Haven't heard of that holoblock issue before -- shift placing and holding right click works for me. I'll look into it though.

Shouldn't be a problem -- you can just drink it to empty it. :)

0 Bradmall This is the first map of yours that I have played and I want to say it is one of the best maps I've played. I appreciated the thought that went into the story and the builds to back it up!

Shameful plug, but I've started a Cinematic playthrough of it and just uploaded the first episode here: https://youtu.be/ZINQFBUltwQ
This was my first try at a cinematic playthrough, but this excellent map made it really easy to do.

Again this was a well-made map and one of the best I've played. One suggestion to help make your maps even better would be to look into a custom texture pack for the blocks and items. I believe this could really push your maps over the top, I'm sure you probably have thought about doing that and I know a lot of work would have to go into it, but it would definitely be worth it.

Hopefully, we will see more from you in the future keep up the good work!

+2 Cavinator1 I thoroughly enjoyed playing this map. Only major problem I had was that it took me ages to find the way into the cathedral (hint if anyone else is wondering - look in the human artifact building).
The way it encourages using block-placing to achieve your goals is something that I have never seen really utilised effectively or in the right way despite how simply this map pulls it off. Add in an immersive world filled with funny robots, hilarious references (eg I found a tardis somewhere), and dungeons, puzzles and unique custom mobs that were fun to work your way through. Also the fact that the power sources were in classic fleecy boxes brought a nice amount of nostalgia.
Also - did it deathless first try! :D

The spoon is probably the hardest of the artifacts to find! Search near Sol Corp, in a place where there doesn't seem to be anything important... :)

Looking forward to hearing about this exploit of yours! I'm also curious which dungeon order you've found to be the most optimal for speedrunning. Cheers!

Just so you know, the exploit isn't in the run you saw, but the next speedrun I upload will probably include it. Thanks a ton for the help!

Well actually, since I'm already asking for this, and I see someone else has the same question, I may as well ask this too. The artifact I'm missing is also the wooden shovel, and a hint will be greatly appreciated.

And oh yeah! I did find a nice little exploit as a speedrun strat if you're interested in seeing it. I don't think you should patch it because its cool tho and most people wouldn't think of it lol

I think you will be happy to hear that I'm working on a new option for speedrunners to skip dialogue. Should have a new version up tomorrow. Hopefully this will help make runs a little more fun with less waiting. :)

Hey dude, I love the map, and I've started speedrunning it (love the text for turning 4 sources in at once lol), but I have a problem. I wanna speedrun the map while also getting all purple items, but when I finish the map with 16 purple items like it says, it doesn't give me the advancement, and I'm confused. The items I get are:

1) Holoblock
2) Taterpad Air
3) Spider Snippers
4) Cyber Pup
5) Lunar Chestplate
6) Laser bow
7) Lunar Boots
8) Knockbaxe
9) Ten Gallion Shield
10) Bucket of Tears
11) Assembler Disassembler
12) Ancient Phaseblade
13) Death Sentence
14) Lunar Leggings
15) Miniature Pushing Stick
16) Supernova

So that should be 16 right? I'm guessing that maybe the Taterpad Air doesn't count as one, and there's a Lunar Helmet, but if that's true I have yet to find it. If I'm wrong somehow, can you tell me what the thing/things I'm missing are and where to find them? I've already spent hours looking around and just can't figure it out.

Also I'm routing 100% and can't find all the artifacts, which u would obv need for 100%, but that's just bc I'm a dummy so I won't ask for help with that.

Have a good day, and thanks in advance for any help I may get!

You're right, the taterPad Air doesn't count toward the achievement. I will correct the color of its name in the next map update. You can find the lunar helmet at the top of the mountain, near the Magenta Source.

Let me know if you're having any trouble finding the artifacts. A couple of them are pretty well hidden. I look forward to hearing your record!
