Couldn't fit my whole name up there ^ but this is ThatRaisinTho speedruns, the guy who speedran your map a while ago. I took a break from trying this map for quite a while, but I'm coming back now and I finally am almost done making a route for the Perfect Run!

Here's a few things you should know that I noticed, both specific to this new version, and just in general;

1) The Seer seems to like to tell you about the same artifacts over and over even when u already have them in the exhibit still. Might also be true for power sources and purple items but I didn't even check.

2) That exploit I mentioned before for Any% still exists and I'll tell you when I have it in a run so you can see it, but that won't be for a while because the Perfect Run route doesn't use it and that's probably the challenge I wanna do next (maybe not tho).

3) After you do the Bonus Quest, the Robot guys that say something along the lines of "Thanks for helping us!" go back to saying what they would say if u had 0 progress on the Quest. I think this happens after u walk away to unload them, and come back, reloading them again.

4) Totality has its own leaderboard page on speedrun.com and I'm the moderator! Right now, there's lots of categories with no runs, and I'm the only runner. But I'll do them all at least one time, and MAYBE someday other people will do some too!

5) Even in speedrun mode, I think the flashbacks should be there. They're a fun addition to the game and they make it easier to have splits, bc during the talking before u get warped is when u can split without it slowing ur time at all. Also, I saw you talk about this with someone else and you said a big problem with it was the lag. The lag doesn't matter much because of the In Game Timer anyways. So although it could still mess you up a tiny bit, it's fine because the Flashbacks are a cool part of the map to have included.

That's all I have to say for now! I slightly rushed that because it's late and I wanna sleep, but as someone who has probably spent more time on this map than anyone bc of lots of routing and speedrun attempts, (besides you of course :P) I thought I should say some stuff I noticed/thought.

Again though, really cool map, and I like the few new additions for the most part.

Have a great day, and good luck with any future maps!

Hi! Good to hear from you! In reply to a couple of your points...

1) I can't replicate this behavior with the Seer, maybe it's render distance related? I will run more tests.

3) Good catch. Fixed.

5) I've gotten this request a few times. I will go ahead and include the flashbacks starting in the next update. Just note that this will invalidate any runs in older map versions.

Cheers!

The taterPad is missing and there's not in the chest :(

Hi Mary, as part of an update for Minecraft Realms, the taterPad has been moved to the shopping area near the Seer NPC. Many players were missing the item due to the holoblock tutorial teleport. I have updated the map's changelog to emphasize this change.

HI playing in 1.13.1, cant even get the book at the beginning of the map then after the tutorial of the glass block i cant even break the other blocks to start the map! really want to play the map but cant :( can someone help me?

Hi Adam, you should be able to break through the glass with the holoblock in your hand. Playing in 1.13.1 might cause some problems though, as the map is made for Minecraft version 1.13.2. I'd recommend downloading the latest version of the map and playing in the correct version of Minecraft.

It is a really great map but because of a stupid mistake i placed my hologram block in the item frame at the sol corp headquarters and the chest where i got it from doesn´t contain another one.
Because of that it´s impossible for me to play on.
Is there another possibility to get a hologram block?

Hi farisaye, if you take everything out of the center chest it will spawn another holoblock. Thanks for bringing that item frame to my attention, I'll fix it right away. :)

Me and my friend have been playing and cannot find the yellow and purple power cores. we also can't find the potato artifact. This is a really good map but we have been stuck for ages.

Hi Jinx!
Here are some hints for you.
Yellow Source: The door to Research & Development on the ground level of Sol Corp seems to be locked. Maybe you can find a key to open it?
Purple Source: The underground library of the museum seems to hide a secret...
Potato: Found inside one of the buildings near where you crashed.
Hope this helps!

Hey, if you could help me, im missing the funnel, the book and the Blaze rod.

The funnel can be found somewhere within the Fungi Film Studio.
The book is somewhere near the cathedral.
And the blaze rod is just off the monorail.
Hope this helps! Good luck!

Where do I find the power sources? I've found 8 of the artifacts and 7 of the legendary items but not a single power sources.

The power sources are pretty well hidden, deep within the map's 4 main areas. Each of them can be found within a small box built out of glass and bricks. As you explore, keep your eyes peeled for redstone torches -- often they mark the path toward the sources!

Amazing map imo, but I lost the trident to the void (magenta mountain). Perhaps you should fix that in future updates.

Thanks for the bug report. There's a check in place that should return the trident if it falls below y=1, but maybe it still slipped through due to lag. I'll see what I can do to fix this.

Hi there,

About speedrun mode, I don't really like the fact that you skip the cutscenes after acquiring the blocks. I would like it better if speedrun mode only skipped the dialogue.

Also, I'm finding a weird glitch where I can't hold right click to place the holoblocks and I can't place them while shifting. I don't know if it's just me.

Good feedback to have. The main reason I decided to skip the cutscenes was because the teleports could cause some lag spikes. I can make this an option in a future version of the map.

Haven't heard of that holoblock issue before -- shift placing and holding right click works for me. I'll look into it though.

+1 Bradmall This is the first map of yours that I have played and I want to say it is one of the best maps I've played. I appreciated the thought that went into the story and the builds to back it up!

Shameful plug, but I've started a Cinematic playthrough of it and just uploaded the first episode here: https://youtu.be/ZINQFBUltwQ
This was my first try at a cinematic playthrough, but this excellent map made it really easy to do.

Again this was a well-made map and one of the best I've played. One suggestion to help make your maps even better would be to look into a custom texture pack for the blocks and items. I believe this could really push your maps over the top, I'm sure you probably have thought about doing that and I know a lot of work would have to go into it, but it would definitely be worth it.

Hopefully, we will see more from you in the future keep up the good work!
