Description / How to Play
|
This is a five level progression game containing a random dungeon generator, a custom level creator, and a creepy, following snake. In each level, you spawn in the dungeon in to find keys in a once again randomized generation of chests.
To win, find the key and the gate, hold the key in your hand (so that the gate will open), and drink the potion inside the sealed-off part of the dungeon.
- This map contains one jump scare and some creepy atmosphere, but I wouldn't consider it a horror game.
- This map needs to be command block compatible.
- This map takes about 45 minutes if you have a lucky randomization on each level, but can be played as many times as you want.
- This map is a somewhat sequel to my other map, The Follower, so the story might not make much sense if you haven't played that map. Then again, the story still won't make much sense anyway.
- I will try to answer any questions in the comments, but I may not see it immediately.

QuoteI believe I may be able to help here. The chests spawn in randomly, and I believe there are 9 total possible ones, 2 of which have the key in the center slot. Some others have food (yes, this has hunger for a reason) and weapons (to deal with the silverfish). The snake is rather difficult to deal with, considering you can't melee it, but if you melee the silverfish and save your flashlight for him, you can outrun him rather easily (given you don't step on any red clay, which the flashlight should get rid of). The silverfish can get out of hand at times, but they are possible to deal melee damage to, and the flashlight should freeze and wither them. The main objective is to avoid/kill the silverfish, use the flashlight to outrun the snake, wait for one of the chests with a key to spawn, then toss it on the ground near the sealed room. In the later levels, the snake gets faster, the silverfish become more numerous, the level becomes bigger, the chests become more rare, and one last enemy spawns in. He appears to be an armor stand with a pumpkin head on, and inflicts 10 seconds of blindness, nausea, and slowness to you if you get too close. My best tip with him is to not pass him unless there are no enemies in sight and it's absolutely necessary to beat the level. Hope this helps!
