+1 Nukess when you make a sequal, can you change the stone buttons to wood buttons? I couldn't even do the 1st one because my reflexes are slow. Please? Other than that, the map is awesome.

*two stars*

+2 iGameHard Ummm Deltaboiy, on stage four there is a question "For the output of an AND gate to be OFF the input must be?" And the answer that works is "On,On" Where it should be anything other than that.

+2 Charlie I found 3 secret levels, 8, 9, and 10 hidden behind a wall with no redstone attached, does it mean anything?

This map is a summary of what puzzle maps were like in MC 1.4. Old circuits, simple puzzles, mixed with some 1.8 titles. If you dont include the titles, you can port the map to 1.4 no problem. It is obvius that who made this map isnt a redstoner.

0 Them Great map! Just a question, why is there a lump of grass and dirt with an iron block in the middle near the map area?

+1 Hauthu495 Level 3. Only one villager should spawn in room 3 should be killed when the level is complete.
Level 4. Question 2 needs to be edited because it states "For the output of an AND gate to be off, what do the inputs need to be."
And you made the answer "On On".
I think what you were tying to say was either

"For the output of an NAND gate to be off, what do the inputs need to be."
or
"For the output of an AND gate to be on, what do the inputs need to be."

All in all though it was a good map and I had alot of fun playing it!

I just recorded myself doing this map and I challenged 3 people I know to beat my score. The video will be uploaded to my channel within the next 16 hours. In case you wanted to watch for it, here's my channel link: https://www.youtube.com/user/MC360DraycosDragon

The video I mentioned that I had done is now up on my YouTube channel. Hope everyone that watches it will enjoy.

NOTE: It's almost an hour long. It would have been over 2 hours long if I hadn't cut the recording a few times.

+1 Bauwks Hmm, this map has some good parts and some not so good parts. Sorry, but I'll be honest.

I liked levels 1 & 2. They were good and they fit the theme of the map.

I didn't like level 3 because I was expecting this to be a puzzle map. I'm not sure how parkour relates to the map's concept of 'redstone trials'.

I liked the concept of the trivia level but 2 of the questions were not right. (The AND gate question and the number of XOR gate inputs question)

I didn't like level 5 either (the maze). Again, I was expecting a puzzle map so I didn't see how it related to the map's concept of 'redstone trials'. Also, it seems to punish the player with negative status effects with no way to avoid them. It would be better if there was a way for the player to detect which pressure plates were 'good' or 'bad'.

I think level 6 is impossible without using the hint. I think that a good puzzle should present the player with everything they need, and then expect them to fit the pieces together. Using the colors of blocks from a completely unrelated room with no indication that those colors are important is confusing.

Level 7 could be good, but there's no real indication that the redstone blocks in the corner are parts of the map that can be interacted with. Not to mention that only 2 of them can be interacted with so there's a 50% chance that the player will think they do nothing.

I hope this feedback helps you create better maps in the future.

Hello Deltaboiy,

Nice job on those red stone puzzles, I really enjoyed your map!

I did have similar issues as TheLastCause. Because I screwed up the puzzle with the pistons and sand block, I had to completely restart your map in order to reset the puzzle.

The final level was challenging as well. After I mined my way through the sand, out of the room and realising I was going where I should not be going, I found the solution. You have to jump in the corners in order to get items. One of the corners will give you some wood and sticks to make a pickaxe.

Despite those issues I had a lot of fun with the different kinds of puzzles. I will keep an eye out for The Redstone Trials 2!

Thank you so much! Ill get working on the first puzzle reset button, I thought I made it so no matter what you did it was possible to finish, but I guess not XD

Dear map maker,

How am I supposed to solve the last level?
I only got a stick from the furnace and that is all. I noticed there was a trough. It was only through wandering through the redstone then I found out that the command block were supposed to give you a water and lava bucket within a certain radius I suppose. But where is the pick? I could not get the cobblestone at all.

Also, can you add a reset button for the level where you have to navigate the red sand through the pistons? I got stuck and had no way to play the level at all after the red sand was untouchable by the pistons.

Other than that, it is a great map, especially the ones with the circuits.

There is a walkthrough of all the levels on my channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3Im4-nArelkjUuuu5yYQXw
