Quote'11th to 14th century' means 1000-1300 CE. That is the high to late medieval ages- but some believe they 'start' around 800 CE with the coronation of Charlemagne and the 'birth' of the Holy Roman Empire- the conclusion of the dark ages, which 'started' around 400-500 CE. Renaissance starts about 15th century, which is 1400- though some say 1453, which is when the Ottomans took Constantinople, the downfall of Byzantium.
Ages are a funny thing, they never actually start or end on a hard note like we seem to think they do. Late medieval ages were half-renaissanc e and half-medieval. Early medieval ages were half-medieval and half-dark age. I suppose the most dominant thing here is that it is a stone based city, which was common back then. Or we can split hairs and complain about how in the real middle ages everything wasn't a cube.
It's a nice map though. Also, you spelled Professor wrong.

QuoteYou say that him saying he thinks this isn't from the 10th century means that he has his facts wrong, even though the dates you gave were closer to the period of time known at the Renaissance. Also, he never said anything about it being not medieval or not medieval, you were the one that brought it up and made yourself look dumb.

QuoteIf you really want to be correct you should have said medieval times were aproximately 5th century to 15th century although some say indeed 14th century. But definetely not starting in the 11th century

QuoteDrio11 said that it was NOT 10th Century not that medieval times were in the 10th Century. Get your facts like before blabbering about how someone's hard work is historically incorrect

Quotethe quote the YOU quoted literally say "I don't think its 10th century, I'd say 14th. Read carefully before you start arguing

QuoteHey, don't mean to start a fight, but the map maker actually said "The medieval city is a 10th century town built completely within castle walls." So actually Drio11 is correct. He was only taking the time period that the map maker mentioned, and Drio11 never even mentioned anything about it being Medieval.

Quotehave you taken world history? The fact that you think medieval was in the 10th century is kind of sad. The medieval times went from the 11th-14th centuries. Get your facts like before blabbering about how someone's hard work is historically incorrect
