Map Info: Peaceful is a short adventure, in which your objective is to activate a mysterious machine you find in a small village. This map attempts to create a feeling of nostalgia, by using a minimalistic style of building and the world generation from before the Adventure Update. There is no fighting in this map; hence the name.
Rules:
- Take your time. The map may be short, but it was not made to be rushed through. Do not remove the Slowness effect.
- Play on Adventure Mode (/gamemode 2)
- Do not cheat unless you become trapped.
- Play on Singleplayer.
- Play on Peaceful difficulty.
- Use the Resource Pack included with the download. (very important.)
Bug Submission/Feedback: Please submit any bugs you may find in the comments section below. If you have feedback, post it in a polite and constructive way. I hope you enjoy the map.
Changelog:
- Adds a better ending.
- No more Playsound lag.
- No more need for a resource pack.
- Made some puzzles more interesting.

Quotewell thanks anyway, it's fun trying out a map that doesn't throw mobs at me everywhere.

By the way, it was a cool and short map!

QuoteIf I could add anything, I guess it would overall be a little more detail. The apple trees were a really nice touch, so more of things like that would be cool!
The signs were helpful, but it would be cool to be a tad bit more interactive with the map.
But yeah, thanks for making it! It definitely kept me occupied, and makes me wonder if I can make my own one day.

QuoteIs there a way that you can make a .zip file for more people? Or should we just get winzip or something? :/

QuoteThanks for the feedback! The reason there is so little instruction or story given to the player is because I intended them to figure out what was going on and what to do by themselves. I have a map in progress that will be more story based.

QuoteI watched your video. There is a separate path to a mine next to the path up to the mining house.
Quoting Map_Tester:
If your system was not able to run the game, that is an issue with the computer, not the map. As for the pickaxes, are you on version 1.8?

QuoteOverall I liked it. You could use some command blocks at the beginning to give the player a short introduction to the map, as in what they're supposed to do and where they're supposed to go. Kinda like a small storyline. I believe that would make it more complete.
