Almost 3,000 years ago, under the prophecy's command, an individual who became known as "The Keeper" has been chosen, to guard the treasure known as the Artifact, a powerful tool crafted thousands of years ago. He is to destroy all that is wrong in the world. However, this power soon led way to evil. When the first Keeper was chosen 1973 years ago, he became a powerful force raising an undead army with the power of the artifact, sending the world into anarchy. He killed anyone who challenged him, except for one man, who became known as the Forbidden Warrior. In their final battle, the Forbidden Warrior killed the Keeper and changed to prophecy, to ensure that when the evil in the form of a new Keeper returns, a new Forbidden Warrior will also rise. The two will rise and fall in a never-ending cycle over the years.
Now, the monsters of the Keeper have returned, meaning a new Keeper will soon rise. Find the Crimson Lariat, an ancient book that will guide you to the new Forbidden Warrior. It has been left in a mysterious building, known as a stronghold, deep within the Perdita Jungle.

Quote1.There is no sense of direction with this map.
Half the time I spent playing was just mindlessly exploring. When you open up new paths, you arent notified so you waste time trying to progress only to find out you have to back track. You could have added some dialogue in chat or something. At one point I had to cheat just to progress because there was no possible route to move forward (clay in the ravine). Seriously, we need some sort of path indicator, it doesn't have to be obvious but something to point you in the right direction. Heck, I even went the wrong way at the VERY BEGINNING. Though it didnt waste anytime, it grinds my gears knowing that even the start of the map isnt clear.
2. Parkour is extremely tedious and fairly hard.
I am, by no means, the best at parkour. However, I am very experienced with it and know my way around many difficult obstacles. Some things proved to be quite challenging, this map is not for any casual parkour player. I actually had to cheat some sections because I was getting very impatient after staying on the same spot for about 15 minutes or so.
That being said, this should be in the PARKOUR section of this website, not ADVENTURE. This is due to the fact that this map mainly revolves around parkour. Also please state in the description of the map that this is a parkour map, I was not ready to do parkour for the entire map since I was looking for an adventure map. Playing this map was just like a huge slap in the face every time the parkour got harder.
3. The puzzles, oh god the puzzles.
Honestly, some of the redstone puzzles were a huge pain to do. I straight up had to cheat one altogether because it was impossible to do after 10 minutes of trying to figure our HOW to start it (i'm looking at you redstone lamp floor). Doing restone block puzzles aren't a bad idea, but putting them in a map utilizing pressure plates in a cramped space? Heck no that should be taboo honestly. Next time please use them with levers, because pressure plates are way too finicky and end up wasting your time rather than being a puzzle. That being said, the redstone block puzzle with multiple layers is not possible in single player. One block you need is impossible to move using pressure plates by yourself.
This is NOT an adventure map. The start of the map had no story, no goal, and no direction. I honestly was waiting for the story to start for about the first half of the map, only then I realized I was playing a parkour map. I honestly forgot about the whole story due to my frustration while trying to get through the map. The map itself as a parkour map is marvelous, and quite difficult as previously stated. But as an adventure map it feels unfinished. There needs to be more story with the gameplay, its sad to say that most of the story is the backstory you wrote out for the map. What you did at the end was great, but that needs to be done for the ENTIRE gameplay of the map. The backstory gives you so much to work with as an adventure map, but I feel like you stopped trying to make the "adventure" part of the map. I feel like i'm playing an adventure map testing world.
For me I give it a 2/5 purely because there are many things to be fixed. The problems are glaring and it ruins the fun of the map.
