Map Info:
You start in a shelter, deep below the ground. You find a chest with some basic supplies to get you going.

There is no getting out of the cave - but inside it you will find everything you need to survive. The map offers many challenges. You will eventually find caves and dungeons within the map, where you can find valuable loot. The loot is not unguarded, however, so keep your guard up!

There are achievements within the map, some of which are essential for your survival. Don't worry - even if it's underground, you still can find (and also grow) wood, and other crops.

This map supports multiplayer. However, make sure you enable command blocks in the server properties!

0 Anonymous I liked this map, it didn't take long to complete but I enjoyed it. To all of those who say the mob spawning made it too hard I say -- Torches-- and lots of them, at the end there were only a couple of places I hadn't stopped the spawning. And I, too, agree the nether wart would have been nice. Not necessary but nice.

Hello! I played this map earlier today and it was pretty fun. Here are a few suggestions:

Try to add in spawners with custom (Strong) mobs that drop diamonds, since many players (myself included) ran out after a while.

Mabye add in netherwart near the blaze spawner, so we can make potions.

Make a vein of sand somewhere, so we can make windows and such.

Add in some mushrooms.

Other than these things, I think this map is great, especially if this is your frst one!

I completely agree. SparxyF, if you still bother looking at the comments, please add nether wart. Seriously, all it is is just a few clicks away.

On a different note, what should we expect in the next update?

I would like to ask if this map is a copy of my survival map, Cavern Adventure which was released December last year...

No, this doesn't look anything like your map. I daresay that this map, with all it's flaws, is better than your glorified survival world. This site isn't for you to create cheap hype for your map. If you're that obsessed over advertising your map here, post it, not accuse others of copying it.

That was the original idea of the map. You are not supposed to linger at one place for a long time.

We all understand that, but after trying to mine one obsidian, I had to deal with 20 zombies. If you're going to put bedrock boxes around any spawner, put them on spawners with custom monsters with rare loot (which aren't that hard to make), and make the old ones breakable. Also, where's the nether wart?

It's one thing to make conquering an area hard. It's another to flood the area with zombies you can never eliminate completely while I mine some obsidian with a diamond pickaxe. I'm no Minecraft combat expert, but this is completely unfair.

I agree with everyone saying spawn rate is too high. The map is spawning so many that they go invisible, but still attack me.

The map is not balanced. Spawn rates are too high. Diamonds are not available (I tried branch mining like what I did to survival minecraft and hit a bedrock wall) when iron armor is no longer sufficient.

Completely agree with this guy. If only the creator would address these issues.

-1 The Smilodon Squad Hello Sparxy !
We recently started playing through your map and are finding pretty damn awesome, just a few things to possibly tweak -
The monster spawn rates, this was extremely hard to deal with at the start especially with the wooden tools. Later on however it was still pretty crazy, especially in that dungeon with the banners !

Overall its a great map we both love it, cant wait for more maps from you brother ! Peace

Here a quick link to our first episode of playing this map would be sweet if you could check it out. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoM4DZTOM-U

+2 PL9 Hey Sparxy!
I had a lot of fun playing this map. I think your idea of players not sticking to one place really translated well. If you tried to do that, the mobs would overwhelm you super fast! I liked the careful gameplay that came out of the buried spawners. The dungeons were a lot of fun and I'm super happy that the map felt spacious. Underground maps with small caves aren't super exciting =P. When I played the map, one of my first feelings was that I really wanted to see what was at the top of the cave. I didn't find much, but maybe that would be a good spot to quickly add in some of the elements some people are suggesting in the comments!

Thanks! If interested, here's a link to my gameplay! =D

+7 GALakeboy Hey great map!
A few things though:
1. I did not spawn with a book. I noticed that a lot of people had the same problem, so I think it is very important.
2. There is no nether wart. You got my hopes up when I saw the blaze spawner.

Otherwise this is a great map and if you are considering getting this map, you should.

So, first of all, I wanted to say that the mobs were a bit overwhelming, (medium difficulty), but maybe that's just me being a wimp. Maybe lower the MaxNearbyEntities data for the spawners.

Second of all, I didn't get a book when I spawned in. I don't know why, glitch, maybe. Maybe look into it.

I think that's it, great map, fun idea. I'd like to see more from you soon.

Hello!

Thank you for the review. Since this is my first map, it was very helpful. I like when players criticize my map in a constructive manner(i.e. tips to make the map better).

I will take that into consideration. However, it was designed so players wouldn't stick to one place all the time(outside the safe zone).

That's a glitch - not all people experience it.

Hello. You are right. It's only now that I see I could have added more content to the map. I might as well make a large patch, or a sequel. What do you think?

I'd prefer a patch/expansion pack over making another map. The nether wart should be a quick fix, though.

Hey, curious after an abortive initial run: are enemies spawning from buried spawners or from some sort of command block? I'm used to being able to destroy spawners but after about 10m of messing around I can't seem to stop the constant flow

Buried spawners. You can't break all of them.

This map has been a joy to play! However, I wish there was more to explore (an underground desert, maybe?) and to complete (9 achievements didn't feel like enough). Also, I believe nether wart is missing...
