Map Info

Welcome to "The Lady and The Tiger".

This map challenges your skill to reason logically through 12 unique puzzles separated into 4 groups. In each puzzle you are given a choice between 2 or more doors. Each door has a sign above it with a statement. Gilbert, your friendly helper, will tell you how to interpret the signs.

In each level you are playing as a different Minecraft Youtuber, who is trying to earn his freedom by choosing the right door. In all cases, you will be trying to go through the door with the Lady, if you fail to do so, you will get eaten by a Tiger.

Each of your fails are tallied and the King will know how many times you failed after each day of trials.

Important

  • This map version does not support multiple players.
  • Every level in the map is solvable with the information that Gilbert gives you, and the signs above the doors.
  • Special thanks to MiahWolf for the art!

+2 KelsiThePyrofly I really enjoyed this map. I like the logic aspect of the puzzles. That last one was crazy though. My brain almost died! I got them all right though :D Here is my play through of the map if anyone is interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01PkWR84DZs

0 Brozziest ATTENTION:
With further research conducted, The Bug causing the continue button not to work was found. The problem, if you want to know, was in a scoreboard which progressed the next chat line to appear. Players who got all 3 questions correct on the first day were not listed on the scoreboard, thus the command's target selector did not detect any players who completed all 3 questions flawlessly. I was unable to find the bug for some time because as the creator, I was already in the files as being on the scoreboard, so each download wouldn't affect me as I tried to replicate the problem. With the help of MiahWolf, we were able to track down the problem. Thank you to MiahWolf for your support and I apologize to every player affected by this bug, as it should be fixed in its newest update.
Sincerely,

I am sorry, but both of ur solutions don't work.

The /setblock Command will set the next line of chat, therefore it will work. The only possible way it would not is if you dont have Cheats turned on to access commands, or you did replay the first 3 levels and have gotten 4 or more fails, at this point the next line of chat wont work because the King will specify how many prisoners died (since there is only 3 prisoners in that day, there is no chat line for a fourth or greater). If you have this problem, a fix is to reset the scoreboard by typing the command in chat "/scoreboard players set @p Deaded 0"

Again, These are the only solutions to this, this is a problem which cannot be traced. If you encounter this problem, the solutions are to 1: make sure you have cheats enabled and type "/setblock 4 5 36 redstone_block" If this does not work, type "/scoreboard players set @p Deaded 0" and try the continue button again, and the previous setblock command again. As I have not experienced the problem after downloading and playing the map 20 time since notification of the issue, There is little else I can do to resolve this problem.
Sincerely,
--Brozziest--

After multiple tests to re-create the problem, none have successfully recreated the issue of the ">>>" not working after the kings "Fiasco" statement. After consulting my 3 private beta-testers of the map prior to upload, only one says they encountered the problem. They fixed it by clicking a previous arrow and re-doing the first 3 levels and then it worked for them.
I am sorry I am unable to trace the problem with the command, It seems that since the occurrence of the bug is randomly distributed, It has been categorized as a simple bug with the game itself and not the command.

Again, if you encounter this issue, you can fix it by replaying the first 3 levels via clicking the previous arrow (if you must), or by typing the command in chat
/setblock 4 5 36 redstone_block

Once more, if you experience this issure, type the following command in chat: /setblock 4 5 36 redstone_block

Was something supposed to happen after the chat says something about the king reading? Because i just stood there and wasnt able to move.

AMAZING map, I completed it with 7 fails :( but still an amazing map. Well thought out, I love how it was based on YouTubers. 10/10. I had a bundle of fun.

Thank you! In the graveyard at the end, the graves are of those who you failed as, and depending on the ending you got (failing level 12 via an empty door or not) the Charles monument would be a Jerry monument instead. I have 2 more maps currently in Beta :)
-Thankyou for the feedback :)

Sincerely,
Brozziest

0 Elanikparr The map's broken, after the first three trials the king's dialogue won't continue.

Great map besides that fact, love the concept.

If you get all of the first three right, in the cutscene, clicking the "continue" on the first line of dialogue doesn't do anything, so you can't continue.

-1 Rbinnetje After the first 3 choices I get teleported back to the king who says: 'Yesterday was a fiasco'

When I want to continue and click on the 3 arrows (>>>) nothing happens. Broken link?

Love the concept. I hope that I can still finish the map.
