Map Info

After two weeks of completely constructing this house from the ground up. We are extremely glad to introduce you guys to the Modern Beach House.

Inspiration, and artistic craftsmanship brought this soothing creation to life.

Similar to the Modern Mountain House, this home suits a single person getaway, but exclusively by an ocean front. Coupled with many features for you to discover.

We (the Yu brothers), seriously appreciate all of the support and friendly compliments from you guys. So, as our saying goes... here is another home for all you people to dream in...

Enjoy!

NOTES:  Don't forget to install Modern HD 1.8 for optimal viewing experience!

It is also optional to install any Shader's Mod Pack for an immersive playthrough!

Quick thanks to Nichtor (check out is channel!) for being so kind for helping us out!

Will anything major change if I use 1.7 or mods?

Yes. Some blocks I use in the house do not exist in 1.7.x. You must use 1.8.x for all the blocks to be in place and for the required resource pack 1.8 Flow's HD.

Hi Cody,

Thanks for the suggestions, I will take these into account and try my best to provide sufficient lighting next time. The reason why I implement "less" light is to retain the "mellow" style of personal homes...

Otherwise thanks! Marcus.

Okay! This sounds great! I have downloaded the first two installments and plan on downloading this when I want to have a new cool mansion/home!

Clearly Emperor Penguin, dose not sees how much time and effort he was doing trying to build this. His maps are all great.Snow and fire looks perfectly fine with the pack 1.8 flows.Wool too.

Great map! I have some friendly suggestions though...

-Can you use a different material instead of snow, as I can't put any lighting in the snow areas?

-Can you also provide better lighting throughout the house for those of us who want to use survival in it and not have mobs spawn it?

Other than that, It's pretty good! Keep up the work and try to apply this to your future builds, but only if you want and can!

House looks nice, regrettably you are incredibly rude in your comment answers to people. Don't forget in an all ages game you may be talking to children.

What? Incredibly rude? How is replying with a logical and sensible attitude considered rude?

If you are regarding my reply towards EmperorPenguin, he blatantly told me that my block choice is horrible. Instead of starting a flame war, I responded with a fair warning to not be disrespectful.

If you have concerns over my response. Please instead contact me via email:

It is about the appearance, not material.

Instead of being subjective, provide a valid critique.

P.S. make sure you use the correct resource pack.

This house is created to produce a visual appear, not functionality. If you haven't noticed, none of my houses use strict build qualities and blocks to match with real life designs. So next time, think before you speak.
