Map Info

With 9 Code Fragments in hand and the crumbling Watt's Tower behind you, Satoshi's next clue leads into the desert. Cinnamon and Sara's father will not save themselves so the only option is to face Satoshi's next set of puzzles. Gear up in Sharon's Pass and head out!

This is the third episode of Satoshi's Treasure. Playing Episode 1 & Episode 2 first is highly recommended.

Satoshi's Treasure is a multi-episode adventure map focusing on story, puzzles, and large-ish builds. Like typical adventure maps, you go around exploring places, killing monsters, collecting items, talking to NPCs, and unlocking the next part of the story. In addition there is a CTMish aspect where solving puzzles gives you Code Fragments. If you have all of the correct Code Fragments in the last episode then you can try to claim Satoshi's Treasure.

Episode 3 is moderately difficult with puzzles a little harder than the previous episodes. It can be completed in approximately 1.5 - 2.5 hours. Potentially longer if you get stumped by a puzzle.

I expect there to be 5 episodes in total and to release an episode every 4-6 weeks. So, feel free to take your time and enjoy the map!

Features

  • Explore huge ancient ruins
  • Challenging puzzles that require logic (NO parkour)
  • Awesome cutscenes and special effects
  • Custom resource pack with textures and sounds
  • Real treasure. (The hunt for the real Bitcoin treasure ended on 11/7/2015)

Aye, thanks! I dont know how to actually quote what you said tho. Is there a page dedicated to Episode 4 of Satoshi's Treasure? I would post this on there but I couldn't find one. Do you have any tips for the first puzzle? You know, the cyan and purple one. I'm stuck on it. :

I love the Satoshi's treasure series and I can't wait for the 4th! ( The button grid one seriously stumped me for a while thou. ) Just some questions, is Sara a zombie or an entire new mob? And how did you get the items to drop on the floor in the Enderman cage in Episode 2 or 3 (I forgot which one lol) without them despawning?

Thanks!

Sara is a retextured zombie pigman with the NoAI flag set to true. On items, if you set the 'Age' tag to -32768 then they will never despawn. You can use the /summon or /entitydata commands to set the custom tags.

hey bauwks. i had both shredded maps but the machine wasnt taking them so i went into creative an accidentally broke the command block under the reassembly machine. could you tell me the command so i can keep playing?

Bummer man. The command in that command block was "fill 4 18 -1035 4 18 -1035 redstone_block 0 replace lapis_block"

I'm curious why it wasn't working though. Did you throw the maps into the machine?

I'm sorry. I've looked at the command blocks twice more and don't see what would cause this. If it's still not working for you then you can work around this by spawning in the numbers you need in creative mode and manually placing them into the 3 digit code spaces.

If anyone else sees this problem too then please vote up bikerchic44's comment.

I am very loyal to the saga of Sathosi 's Treasure ... I fell in love from the first moment , however, I found many bugs and it is impossible to play it ! Then , when I opened the map was before some sort of statue ! He not started from there ! Please Bauwks , you could give me the coordinates ? Thanks again!

I'm not sure what statue you mean. Can you describe it, and if you're playing single or multiplayer? You should spawn in the quartz spawn hall.

Try pressing the button under the number again. It should wrap around from 9 back to 1.

I have completed the 15 x 15 grid and obtained the
two 3 digit codes, but I am unable to enter them onto
the wall as I went to far with 2 of the digits.
When it gets to 9 it stays on 9, how do I go back to 1

+1 TheUnknown Hello Map creator!
I just wanted to say that I think it is awesome how you made the puzzles in all 3 of these maps! They are so original and I've never seen anything like them. I also like how you made solving the puzzles not necessary to finish the map by using the code fragments. I only wonder how you will finish this series. What will the code fragments be used for? How will you prevent someone from cheating their way to the finish? You don't have to answer these btw, I'm just saying what's on my mind :P. I was thinking you might do something like submit a link to somewhere where you could submit their answers, and the best could get their names in a hall of fame? Idk lol. Well that was all I had to say. If you read all of it, I applaud your patience. :D

If you fill in the grid on the floor correctly then the purpose of the unscramble button will become clear. So, focus on the floor bit first.

loving the map.
Have managed to solve 3 puzzles.
Did the grid in the temple with all the numbers and buttons have to be 15 x 15!!!!!!
It's hurting my head.
Have no idea what the unscramble button is telling me.
Any hints?
